Is my drug dealer ripping me off?

I started buying heroin recently and I started snorting it because Im not that knowledgeable on IV'ing. The first time I bought it from him the heroin was brown and it was pretty potent and I was satisfied. The second time I bought it it was in a white "clay chunk" and it didn't seem as potent as the first. Are there different kinds of Heroin out there? Did this guy sell me some low potent heroin to rip me off the second time? I don't want to confront him about it because Heroin dealers are a little intimidating to me.
 
Heroin comes from 4 main source areas.

Mexico - Black tar, and brown powder
South America (Colombia) - tan powder
South East Asia (Burma, Thailand) - white powder
South West Asia (Afghanistan) - brown powder

South American is the most common form found on the east coast, and Mexican black tar on the west.. but any type of heroin can find it's way to any street corner on earth.

It can also vary in color from whatever is used to cut it.

I don't think you were ripped off. Street heroin is always changing in purity, so it's completely possible to get bags from shitty batches.

Your best bet is to find a certian stamp (or several) that you like, and stick with it. If you're on the west coast it's a little harder to guarantee you get it from the same batch. I live on the west coast, and I would always use the same guys. It was pretty much always consistent. Also always test it so you can gauge the strength.
 
If you're just starting on heroin it only leads to bad places... I've been there and am just now getting over withdrawals.

The main thing you need to be concerned about is that purity can very substantially. You could do 1 bag and be cool then buy a different stamp and overdose. There's also heroin out there cut with fentanyl which is extremely strong. I'd say about 100 times stronger than heroin. Could be exaggerating but fentanyl is one opiate you should not fuck with at all unless you have a massive tollerance

I've only used heroin 3 or 4 times and it was black tar IV'd. I preferred pills myself. The only good thing about heroin compared to pills is it's cheaper and lasts longer but with pills like OC you know exactly how much you're taking. With heroin it's kind of like playing russian roulette.
 
even if it's the same stamp it can be a different product. He probably just got a crappier batch. does it look sort of like clay sheets? I actually usually like that stuff the most.

and I disagree with you deadhead about the only thing better about heroin being it's price. I find that heroin is a unique high compared to the other opiates I've tried.

Oxycontin- has a good high, but I.V'd its to short, and the rush is shitty/abscent.
Opana- has a great rush when I.V'd but once again, I find the high short lived, and the euphoria is not quite as good.
hydrocodone- well you just can't shoot it which is my main problem, though I think it's a good high.
methadone-I've never tried to shoot it, but I just personally don't like the stuff much.

Heroin certainly is not the strongest opiate around, but it seems to combine the best parts of all the pills (at least the ones I've tried), which is probably why it remains illegal in the US.
 
^heroin lasts significantly longer than opana? IME, opana lasts just about all day. many times longer than the -codones or codeine.
 
different textures of heroin......

i live in miami and our heroin can very from very brown sand textured too pure white baby powder texture,and it all is pretty much 70-90%.....very good dope for street corner dope i have like 4 dealers and all 4 are different,they come in 1/10 baggies,and have a symbol on them heres a pic of miami style heroin....

As others have stated heroine come in different forms dealers just get what comes in. I don't know where you are from, if you suspect your dealer is a gun totting gang banger go through someone else. If not and if you live in suburbia don't be intimated. opiate addicts are worthless in a fight for the most part, and he is probably way more intimidated by you then you are him. A lot of times dope dealers put on a front for their own welfare, there are a lot of people who would do anything for that shit if a dealer doesn't seem tough they could get their shit stolen, threatened and all sorts of terrible things.

i have 200 of those exact red devil bags in my bedroom along with 200 black crows 200 blue #1's,200 stay highs, 200&200 .5x.5&.3/4x3/4 clear,200 1.5x2 and finally 5oo 2x2 clear bags lol, all im trying to say is that stamp doesnt really matter, i could be putting the same stuff in all bags and placebo would make people say what one is better even though they are the same. but if a dealer has a good batch in a certain bag its all too easy to copy him by getting that same bag. just like ^ said. haha i totaly didn't see he was getting at the same thing i am, sorry just waking up.

and if your wondering why i have all these bags, it's just cuz im friends with the people who sell them so i get em really cheap.

i am in the UK and no one ever uses the we bags to sell there dope in - we just get the small sacks tied so they never have a name or anything.

i have only ever seen the we zip lock bags for sale in shops before and i heared u just rip these ones open and after that u cant close them again.

is there sumwere online u can purchase these we sacks or do people make them?

hope this isnt sourcing as the we bags are not illegal.

It could also be he sold you fire the first time hoping you always come back the cut it to shit when you finally really want his good stuff. All drug dealers do this, shit even with weed add alittle oregino oh what's that smell? Pineapple express
 
yeah with weed also adding some of that bullshit fake pot they sell in high times and lacing it with something and adding it into a bag in small amounts and saying "i mixed in some better shit in there for ya to try for the same price" lol dealers who are low level and shady will and have tried almost everything to get more money and talk up there product...like selling good mid grade sinsemilla sparyed with a flavoring of some kind or just calling some straight up mid grade some name like South Asian Four way super haze man and try and charge somone twice or more what the bud would go for from a real stand up dude selling it but there will always be people ,especially some rich yuppiesh college kids who pay $120 for a 1/4 oz of some $200 an Ounce mid grade of good quality that some other yuppie kid calls super thai blah blah haze number 7 or some thing...lol idiots..happens to the best of us at least once or twice at first especially with cocaine or heroin when you don't really know about the shit much...but the pot heads paying out the ass for mids cause it makes them "cool" to other yuppie rich college kids is funny to me...if they were not so brand name oriented they would not get screwed like that,and it does not usually go on too long unless they are a group of straight up snoby kids...lol
 
Also my experience with some dealers is the old "bait and switch" . . . they sell you great stuff the first time to get your business, then they downgrade the quality. Then if you complain they will sell you good stuff again and then little by little again start downgrading the quality. That could be your story.
