Ok so I had originally had T3's prescribed to me for arm pain by my doctor. No Refills.

I managed to get the doc to request a refill a couple weeks back and he did.... he attached two more refills on it as well.

Then after I got the new script to Tylenol 3, which I picked up I got Norco from the same doc.... keep in mind I had 2 refills left on Tylenol 3.

I ran out of Norco as normal then used the two refills of tylenol 3...

Now my doctor approved a new script for norcos... had no idea I was switching back and forth. The only way I can get them is if I bring back the tylenol 3 script... the last bottle I filled so they can "dispose" of them... or whatever they do.

My question is will they count them or even look at them for that matter? I figure the worst thing they can do is not give me the norcos...

Lets put it this way... I'm sorry if I am not suppose to ask this but the tylenol 3 bottle has "tylenol 325's" that look very similar, in it because I took all the T'3s, but I want to give them something so I get my norcos...

Do you think they will just take the bottle and be happy with it and toss it away or do you think they will look into it very thoroughly? They just don't want me having both at once, and I quite frankly have nothing left to give them...

I just don't know if they will actually dump them out and count them right in front of me and go "hey what the fuck?" or can they even do that?

What I figure is the worst thing they can do is tell my doc, or just simply not give me the norcos... sorry if this was confusing or against the rules I just have no one else to ask.

I mean shit they just want to throw them away... so what would a normal pharmacy tech do?

depends where u fill your scripts at
if its at walmart i doubt you have to worry unless u got prescribed 90 and have 20 left and its been 4 days

osco... technically its a 4 day script... like i said the pills i put in there are look alikes unless you look too close... I hope they just take the bottle and say nothing or just throw it away without even looking. Like I said at first glimpse its okay... it was 50 and theres like 30 of these in there.

Since these are two different prescriptions then I do not see the problem in getting both T3's and Norco prescribed. Usually you just have to wait almost a full month if you are getting a refill on a controlled substance. I have never heard of having to return one script before getting another.

how many were u prescribed per day? put the like alikes at the bottom. if you have any benzos just take em and go do it, they'll most likely take em back w/o looking at them or saying anything

It's not like they are going to re-package the meds and issue them to new people. Whatever gets returned will just be thrown away and marked as waste on whatever sheet these use during pill checks.

That said, I'm not sure if they will look in the bottle and verify, though I am sure they will. Seems risky IMO.

You can bet they will count them ,I had that happen to me although different meds and all,but I had to take my bottle of pills back to the doctor for them to count how many I has left and of course they were long gone so, I got cut off from that doctor, and Don't try to slip them a fake tylenol3, all the tylenol 3's i have seen had either a 3 on one side or a pill ID number, which even a pharmacy tech can tell the difference, and if you must take them to the doctors office like I was supposed to,then for sure don't try and fool them..IT won't work...Especially considering they are a schedule 3 drug..even if they weren't it would not work in my opinion, and they do dispose of the drugs, they have to keep close records on schedule 3 and 2 drugs for the damn DEA, so they will look at the i can assure you.
