This has happen to me before but the last time it happen i couldnt open my mouth very wide , what you would call i guess the second click when u open your mouth all the way,, when i yawned it made me tear thats how painful it was. Now what i am wondering is why is this happening i havnt rolled for around 2 weeks and it seems to get worse everyday almost like im grinding my teeth while i sleep. I cant rele chew open my mouth or bite down its rele stressful and painful. Any help%)

You should contact your dentist or physician. That is not a normal side effect from using mdma. There could be soreness the next day if you were clenching significantly, but the pain shouldn't last for weeks.

its not like right after i roll it happens maybe 3-4 days after my jaw feels killer more then it did after the next day soreness mad weird and im not sure i have insurance since i just turned 19 and i dont got to high school anymore so this might be a little tricky

Are you naturally a teeth grinder? Like do you clench your teeth when you're stressed or during sleep?

You could also try taking some potassium and magnesium supplements as those will help with muscle/jaw tension and see if that helps at all.

Thnx guys i will try the supplement ideas though the pain has gone down today it still does hurt and i cant chew to the fullest of my ability

By a night guard for grinding your teeth at night, and look up TMJ joint exercises on the internet. DO the exercises religiously for a little over a month and it will help tremendously! I had the same problem, I did it before a month before I rolled on NYE and it was back to normal. If you continuously chew gum or chew without doing the exercises it will go back to the way it was. It's basically you need to strengthen that muscle. Hope this helps.

Dear all, I am having similar problems as OrangeXLs. Rolled the first time over a week ago and still now some muscular tension and itch near the (teeth) gum. Was alright yesterday, almost no pain or muscular tension, then everything started again in the evening at a club (just few drinks, no drugs this time). What can it be? How long is supposed to last and what to do to solve the issue?

Many thanks

I have this problem also at the moment. I rolled nearly a week ago and now I can't open my mouth properly. This has never happened to me before. I'm not in pain or anything though, it's just pretty annoying.

OrangeXLs, did you ever get your jaw sorted or did it just go back to normal after a while?

I would think the problem is that our mouths (well, trigeminal nerve) have just been over worked and need some time to return to normal.

I'm going to try eating easy things like soup and that for a few days, not working the jaw at all really, and see if that helps.

im glad i came into this thread.. i havent posted on BL for a while just lurked but i never met another person who sufffered long term jaw issues after rolling besides myself.. ill look up the jaw excercises for tmj but tbh its not big enough of a problem for me to buy the mouth guard, unless its really cheap

Wow, we are not alone..

Anyway, I do not have almost any pain, I can open the mouth as much as I want and actually, when eating (or chewing a gum) I feel better! Only in the morning I have a stange feeling in my mouth and the teeth seem more sensitive..another drwaback, is that I keep 'biting' the inner jaw, clamping it...

That said, I dont believe I have TMJ, but most likely an acute overworking of the jaw..is someone in the same situation?

So guys, update after a month:

I have been at a dentist, who told me I do not have any problem with the jaw or with the teeth.
But the slight pain/disturb was still present. Hence I went to the GP who suggested me to go to a neurologist.

I am currently taking some muscle relaxant, but sometimes the nuisance is still present.
Someone else with the same issue and how he/she solved it?

I did. I have to shift my jaw left to open my mouth, although I do it subconsciously now. You CAN fuck up your jaw if you roll with existing TMJ.
