* The Twin Cats
With an unrivaled reputation as the funk masters of Indianapolis, Mojostock couldn’t be more thrilled to have The Twin Cats as the headliner of the 2010 festival bill. First and foremost, the Cats strive for (and achieve) quality musicianship. Blending their diverse musical backgrounds has placed The Twin Cats sound at a crossroads of classically trained jazz, improvisational jam, and groovy funkadelics. The band boasts a large and devoted local following, due in large part to their fun, engaging live shows. Face melting funk, in your face… melting it.
>< >< >< >< >< >< >< >< >< >< >< >< >< >< >< >< >< >< ><
* Hyryder
Their stylings of "jam" rock are turning heads everywhere they go, from their unique acoustic/electric sounds, to the high intensity spaced out jam's that ensue. Their influences are deeply rooted in the Grateful Dead, Phish, Bob Dylan, Beatles, Allman Brothers, Crosby Stills Nash and Young, as well as more progressive bands, old and new. With the "Neil Peart" like rhythms driving the sound you won't be able to sit for long. Don't miss Indianapolis' premiere up and coming jam band! These guys will rip Mojostock apart!
>< >< >< >< >< >< >< >< >< >< >< >< >< >< >< >< >< >< ><

* Shiva vs. Gizzmo - (Dubstep set)
SUBterror
For 14 years, Indianapolis techno mainstay DJ Shiva has brought a multitude of techno flavors to dancefloors nationwide. With her foray into the realm of dubstep, the same rules (or lack of them) apply. From straight up chest rattling bangers to skeletonized exercises in minimal dub to bits and pieces of electro , garage and techno, Shiva brings a fresh approach to the dubstep palette.
After emerging from the comet that brought him to earth Gizzmo found a pair of turntables. Little did the people of Earth know that their world had changed. From that point on he proceeded to tackle any form of decent electronic music (i.e. NO TRANCE) and perfect the mixing of it. He can be found anywhere there are Subarus racing or Beats bumping. DO NOT get him wet and DO NOT feed him after midnight. We also don't suggest making eye to eye contact with him while he's playing as the energy coming from his brain may reduce you to a pile of dust.
Their two powers combined will guarantee World Domination by next Thursday, Lunch Time.
>< >< >< >< >< >< >< >< >< >< >< >< >< >< >< >< >< >< ><
* Pocket Fullah Nasty
This collaboration of musicians includes Rory Connolly, and Kris Edwards from the The Great Hookup, together with Steve Smith from Fernhead, and Josh Brunner from the Session Brothers. "Its all about the flow and giving the crowd a direction to move in by creating tension and anticipation until they're ready to explode", explains Taylor in a 2008 interview. Since joining the DJ collective Bang Tech 12 (based out of Detroit) in 2007, Taylor has had the opportunity to play along side some of the largest names in the industry and has become a staple in the Indianapolis club promoting community.
