Has anyone ever traded anything wild or weird for weed (besides money, of course)?
 
Was at an open front bar the other night(whole front is open to the street) and a street artist stood outside, casually sketching the activity at our table. He then asked us if we would buy it, and no one had much cash. So my friend offers him a trade. He put up a knife, some various art supplies, 2 dollars and about .3-.5 grams of herb. Artist took the pens and the herb, thanked us and headed on his way.

The sketch was entitled "Giving up the recipe" (were all chefs) and it was EXCELLENT. Had any of us had cash money on us we would have gladly paid what he asked for it. He captured not only what we look like but the energy in our conversation as well.
 
I once traded a no contract phone for some bud. I hated the thing and had just gotten a contract phone and coincidentally my guy was looking for a no contract phone. It was definitely worth the trade. I know i've traded weed for things I wanted but didn't have the cash for with friends before and vice versa. I just can't seem to remember any one particular time.
 
traded a blaze out for a ride countless times. maybe for food or cigs if i dont have any cash. gave a friend of mine some bud to paint my guitar(which looks sexyx10 now).

oh and idk if this counts but i traded a colelge education and a job for weed. not trying to blame shift tho. :D

That is a horrible thing to say...

I've had sex with a relatively unattractive woman for an 8th (she was kinda bigger)
I have been given a ps3 for a half.
 
ya pretty sad but mostly true. priorities...not my thing sometimes. XD

by "kinda" bigger i hope you dont mean 200++lbs.. and relative to brittany murphy(predeath) how unattractive was she?
 
I traded a bike for an ounce to my dealer once. Know he uses the bike for all his deals which is pretty funny
 
Yeah, all sorts of random trades. Mostly for services, like, I'll blaze you out if you can resecure my shower head type of thing *this is a hint to another BLer at the moment actually*. I traded my giant broken zong for some weed, along with other stuff...never anything valuable, us potheads seem to like the barter system. ;)
 
I boosted 3 or 4 boxsets from the mall. I rode to Armory square and found a young guy on his bike. We rode to the music store and he sold the boxsets for cash.
I earlier offered $20 for his services.
He instead took $10 and gave me a big chunk of hash his military brother had brought home.

One time I traded roughly 5$ worth of schwag for half an MDMA capsule.

The people I traded it for were rolling and I told them I've never tried it before and have no money. Then I told them I'd give them my weed and they said sure.

Had an amazing time rolling with 3 strangers in a car outside of a rave. Lol, how funny that was. We never even went in the rave, the music was bad even on MDMA we could tell it was negative.
 
Haha! These are excellent. I've had friends trade artwork for drugs and whatnot before which is kind of what inspired the question. (:
 
A friend of mine got me some frozen yogurt in exchange for blazing him up.

Another time, I had paid in full for a taxi ride for me and someone else (well, actually two rides, one to a place and another back) and since he had no money but he had some acid, he gave me that instead.

Another time, I traded some bud for some salvia.
 
In reply to my previous post in this thread...said BLer actually read it, came over and fixed my falling off showerhead AND stapled a sheet over my apartment storage unit. Yay for the barter system!
