First of all I am not trying to con a doctor I have anxiety and have been prescribed lorazepam before.

So today I have my first appointment with my psychiatrist and I know what helps me the most is klonopin but in scared I won't get that and I don't know how to ask without seeming like a seeker.
Any tips?

just be cool and say what you just said (everything but the drug seeking part).... if he is a good "real" doctor he will help you out

He's a fucking douche. He gave me seroquel and venlaflaxine and wouldn't refill my addy script. I dint even know what the second one is. Wtf

Sucks he didn't refill your Adderall script but most doctors try antidepressants on first visits, as they have become first line treatments these days. Next appointment just tell him that it didn't work (unless it has). Although he may tell you that you have to wait longer before the full effects kick in. Many things could happen but if you don't like him you could always look for another doctor but I'd say give him one more chance.

If you've been prescribed medications for your anxiety in the past, including both benzos & non-benzos, I don't think it would sound like drug seeking at all for you to simply give your new doctor an "objective" history of what medications you've taken before for what problems & how well they worked.
Psychiatrists have very different thoughts about benzos; some will do anything do avoid prescribing them, others will just write you a 'script without thinking twice.
Your psychiatrist might have you try a non-addictive medication for anxiety before writing you a Klonopin script, but if he/she does, then a few weeks later just tell them you're not feeling an effect from it. There's only so many different medications for anxiety out there.

Seroquel made me too tired and pissed off, that was my reason to stop. I was scripted prozac ssri, I heard horror stories about ssri's, told him it made me feel bi polar and more anxious. Say lorazepam worked, it just didn't last long enough

He's not from here so he gave me a lecture on how adderal isn't a real drug and the only reason its used is that america has lots of money do the drug is just a marketing ploy

I'm sorry but your dr sounds like an idiot. I would be looking for a new one.

I hate when drs act like they know your body better then you do. It just annoys the hell out of me.

Try to find a dr that will actually listen to your needs and what you're going through. GL :)
