It's really a bit of an oxymoron, isn't it? Benzo = the name for a class of drugs that make you feel calm and relaxed, and the word "Fury".

"Benzo Furry" would be more appropriate. A calm, relaxed person, dressed as an animal.

Sounds like a new Jackie Chan film to me....

Jackie Chan needs a come back :(

Other than that I think the name just adds confusion and makes it easier for vendors to get away with their dirty scams.

haha not really like, benzos have a tendency to make some people fly off the handle like booze. i know a couple of normally nice people who get dickheadish on benzos

Well according to the Nichols paper, this is only a kick in the arse off being MDA in terms of neurotransmitter release & inhibition of reuptake (so close in fact I don't think all of the good reports about it are hyperbole). A bit more tweaking with the molecule and you never know what you'll end up with. Maybe replacing one of the oxygens of the methylenedioxy ring with sulphur will produce something outstanding beyond words or replacing the benzofuran nucleus with indole...

PS just realized the 'fury' part comes from the furan part of benzofuran. Imagine if they'd used benzothiophene, it would be 'benzo fiend'!

^how long before this is synthed, some vendor will probably see this and try get someone to synth it, would it have any legal boundries?

Rule 8.—Objectionable Names.—Many of the abuses connected
with proprietary medicines arise from "coined" proprietary
trade names. Such names will not be recognized by
the Council unless in particular instances the Council j-hall
deem their use to be in the interest of public welfare. In
every such exception the burden of proof, both for establishing
and for continuing the exception, lies with those who
market the product.

Unessential Modefications of Official Substances.—
Imitations.—The subterfuge of obtaining proprietary rights over
an official or established nonproprietary product by introducing
unessential modifications also tends to confusion and abuses.
and such articles will not be admitted by the Council. Essential
and important modifications, however, will receive recognition.

Who's in charge for fucksake! :!

i was sure the RC market would collapse with this influx of gibberish chemicals but 6-APDB looks like it could out do meph and even compete with MDA+MDMA. good times, i wish the suppliers would hurry up :)

Funny that, seeing as none of you really have the foggiest of what it might to do you. You're basing all this hope n excitement on the trip reports from people who IMO are vendors! lol

I can see this hitting the papers...BENZO FURY....the drug that killed the nation.

^sort of agree that there is some ridiculous shills around here, but this one sounds like it has potential.

+1 for not getting excited yet though. For all we know this stuff could kill you, and history has taught me that hyping anything up only leads to disappointment...

Nah IMO there have been several legit trip reports on here, from long-time members with tons of posts. I doubt its a big vendor conspiracy.

The vendors are always easy to spot. <10 posts, super positive reviews. The 6-APDB reports sound legit.

As for potential health problems, yeah, it's untested, but it's hardly anything new that people are willing to experiment with substances that are not 100% known to be safe.

I wonder if customs & excise tests would find "benzo fury" similar enough to MDA to decide it actually is MDA.
