Any stories of you vs. the police...and you actually won?

This story I did actually end up getting arrested but I still consider it a slight win...heroin/opiate users will appreciate this the most.

Sorry if this is a duplicate thread...scanned a few pages back and didn't see anywhere appropriate to put it.

The one time I was arrested I had just bought like 7 bags -- bad luck on my part because I just so happened to meet my dealer while she was being set up by another user who had just gotten busted (as I found out later.) They had an undercover there buying dope from her (my dealer), and the undercover -- who was in the car in front of me -- saw her serve me immediately after...so there was no getting out of that one.

Anyway, they pulled me over. I had 5 bags in a rubber band and two loose in my bra. They cuffed me and kept demanding to know where it was because they couldn't find it....they finally said, "Is it in your bra?" and a male officer proceeded to grab my bra and shake it out. That didn't seem right/legal but anyway...

So the 5 bags in the rubber band fell out. He asked, "Is that all of them?" and I said yes. They brought me down to the station, processed me, and let me go about 7 hours later pending a court date.

I was feeling it pretty badly by that time (dopesick that is.) The two bags were burning a hole in my bra the whole time I was there...I was really afraid they were gonna fall out while I was handcuffed behind my back, but they didn't. I left the police station, walked two blocks down to the train station, and did the two bags. MY GOD they were the two sweetest bags I've ever done in my life. A true gift from the heroin Gods.

Your're story is'nt that exciting.

I've a good one.....................

I was trespassing on someones property to get access to a fishing spot. I left, and came back to get my sisters waterbottle that was full of liquor I had forgotten. As I was leaving the area the Police show up and arrest me for trespassing. When they searched my backpack they found a marijuana pipe and some weed. I had been at the basketball court two days earlier and someone stashed their gear in my bag while we played a game. So I got charged with possesion too.

When I saw my lawyer I lied and told him that I resisted and the Police had thrown me to the ground and kicked me in the ribs.

I dont know if it influenced the Judge any, but he threw out the possesion charge.

Hey, no ones claiming it's the most exciting story of the year (like yours was...) but TRUST ME, if you had been me that day, you would have been pretty happy to get those 2 bags. It was a small win but a win nonetheless.

This rarely happens when the police are involved so I just wanted to hear some more stories of people who actually came out on top in these situations.

I see you're from NJ. You're prob. tougher and meaner than me.

Heres another one. I've been chased by the cops four times after picking up a rock. And every time I had already taken a hit imediately. So...................................you can imagine I'm pretty fuckin high!!

One time I blew a hit in the cops face when he rushed my window. LOL. I never got arrested though. Got a ticket one time for driving irraticly. I was driving a Saab, and the Saab cars have a cassette tape organizer in the dashboard you can remove. Thats where I was stashing my pipe and rock. LOL!!

you shouldve got your lawyer to fight it because a male officer touched you "inappropriately"

this post aint relevant to the thread at all. Your thoughts on whether or not somebody should use heroin aint got nothing to do with this topic and dont belong in here. Please PM badfi$h if you want to talk to her about this.

I got booked on an armed robbery of a pharmacy, say in jail 4 months, trial date came and I had a half-day in court only to have the crown attorney withdraw the charges because she felt there wasn't a reasonable prospect on conviction, not enough evidence. So 4 months in jail might be a lose but it's a big win compared to the 3-5 years in the federal penitentiary they wanted for the charges...

^^ for some reason i remember you saying one time that you are in a wheel chair

i dont mean to imply that handicapped people cant do what non-handicapted people do but how hard was it to rob a pharmacy in a chair?

Geez...didn't mean to get everyone all serious and trying to rescue me.

And yes...heroin is a very, very fucked up drug.

Beagleboy...I am still a greenlighter. I don't have access to PM's at the moment.

While being interrogated, I started rocking back-n-forth repeating the same few words. I'm not crazy, I just pretended to be, and they found my xanax script, and wellbutrin so I muttered something about being bi-polar..... I was supposed to do 6 months, but after that the DA felt bad and said I had to complete a rehab and get my mental health in order...

Thats the best I got over, but it still sucked being in rehab for 28days.... I lied there about how much oxy I was doing, and ended up getting more high than ever before on the methadone dosage they gave me for the first 5 days, so atleast that was good.

Are all the sentences in Canada a joke like that? Seriously, 3-5 for armed robbery? This guy i know robbed a pharmacy at gunpoint last year and got sentenced to 20 years. He didn't shoot anyone in the process or even fire the gun, so its not like that influenced his sentence. There is a mandatory minimum of 10 years in my state, so its impossible to get less than that and people frequently get more.

-Been getting high for 13 years, with no sale, possession, or DWI/DWAI arrests.

....

Doing it right?

You should probably knock on wood or something. ;)

Girl get a lawyer. That was illegal as shit. You could end up walking AND ending up with a nice lawsuit. I spent 4 yearsd in prison and spent a lot of time in the law library playing jail house lawyer. A male officer can not search a female beyond pockets, shoes, etc. Panties and bra are off limits.

Heres one...last week I was drunk as fuck riding my bike in town. And I got into an arguement with some teenagers in their front yard. And the Police went by so I decided it was a good time to leave. For some reason I decided to charge the group of teens on my bike while doing a pretty good wheelie and cut throught their yard and into the next street. I knew the Police would catch up with me and want to arrest me for public intoxication, so I gently laid myself down on the grass of someones lawn, closed my eyes and waited. When the Police found me 20 seconds later I pretended I was unconcious. And when the Paramedics arrived I got taken to the hospital without the Police.
I totally beat the pigs.

I got busted last summer right after I bought a bundle. Undercover cops rolled up on my, I was on foot, after I copped while I was walking to the bus stop. I had stashed the bun in my sock at the bottom of my foot, so they couldn't find it at first, but they knew I was holding cause I foolishly had an empty bag in my pocket. After a few minutes of them trying to convince me that I "should just tell them where it is, we're not gonna arrest you if you just tell us where it is" bullshit, they finally found the bun cuffed me and proceeded to slam my head on the hood of the car. On the car ride to the county jail this asshole was calling me a piece of shit junky and that if he ever saw me walking around that area at night again he would tase me and make my life hell, blah blah.

So about a month later I, like a dumbass, go back to the same area to cop.(yes I realize that is stupid but I have since cleaned up my act hopefully won't be going down that road anymore, literally) So its late at night, Im sweating bullets thinking undercover's about to roll up on me. Well right when I got the bun, I folded it up in a paper towel and used the rubber band that came with the dope to strap it to my johnson. So i walk around the corner from my boy's house on to the same road headed for the same bus stop that the previous incident happened, and what do ya know. Popo rolls up. But this time its a marked car. But who steps out? Mr. RoidRage from the month earlier. He immediately recognizes me and starts searching the shit out of me. Took off my socks, shoes, hat, belt, turned my pockets inside out, everything. He karate chopped my nuts with an upward motion when he was patting me down, and besides the pain, i thought for sure he felt it or it fell out. But it didn't. So he was pissed off, calling me names, told me to get my shit from my pockets off the hood of his car, and to get the fuck out of here. "Yes sir officer"

You are both right and wrong. The male officer was not supposed to search her bra, and she can file a complaint against him and he will probably be reprimanded. You could try to start a civil suit against the officer for sexual harassment, but you probably wouldn't win unless you lied and said he was groping your breasts, etc. Its even more unlikely that the charges against you would be dropped because of this.

Well isn't there a chance that the evidence would be inadmissible in court if it was gathered in an unlawful way? (ie: the cop broke the law by searching inside her bra so there's reasonable doubt any evidence he found was not there in the first place). She still probably get charged but there's a chance a generous judge might throw it out, if the cop had been reprimanded before and etc...

The thing about male officers not searching female suspects is not even a law, its just protocol for the protection of the officer against sexual harassment lawsuits and as courtesy to the suspect so they do not feel violated. If necessary, a male officer CAN search a female suspect. And they will if there is not a female officer in the area.

This is not an illegal search like searching someone's house without a warrant, its a completely different situation.

In some police departments, a male searching a female in the breast/pubic area is strictly prohibited and not allowed in any situation. In others it is acceptable if there is not a female officer able to respond to the scene at that time. In some departments the male officer can search a female unless she explicitly requests to be searched by a female officer. No matter what, this is an issue of police protocol and not a legal matter. This is why she can file a complaint and the officer may/may not be reprimanded, but the case will certainly not be thrown out.

Ah ok, that's where I made a mistake. It's simply a matter of police protocol, not state/federal law.
