hey if thiz thread n da wrong place, ya'll can move it. not sure whur 2 post dis shit, but it seemz kinda dark 2 me! lol....

i'm 27 n gotta get all 4 wisdom teeth pulled next tuesday. they telln me da top ones all grown up n my sinuses n the bottom left one is completely grown n sidewayz. itz pretty fuct up lookn.

n e way i'm hearn all theze horror storiez n shit about it. i ain't no wuss or cry baby or nothn lyke that 4 damn sure, but still i ain't lyke not known what 2 xpect homie. know what i mean? i b seein theze you tube videoz of pple all fuct up when they start wakin up n shit n i ain't cool wit dat. i aint gonna act lyke no fucin idiot lyke dat.

erbody telln me basically how much misry n pain im gonna b n. shit, i know this. but all i wanna know n e body got n e advice how 2 somehow act tough through dis shit so i ain't gotta see pple laughn n makin fun of me... shit man. how i gonna do this an act cool still. lol

also n e body got n e advice what pain medz i should try n get tha doc 2 give me? i dunno shit aobut pillz. meth waz alwayz my thang---bacc b4 i went 2 da pen. damn i wish id just did thiz shit n ther when it wooda ben free!:X

but no, you will be fine man. Ibuprofen should take care of the pain, if not, most Drs give out Vicodin or Percocet.
 
The sad truth is that you will most definitely act like a fool, just like you have seen in those youtube videos. In fact you can probably count on acting worse. When you are finished the doctor will normally stand there and point a finger at you while saying 'hey fool, do something dumb again'. Be warned.

but i got 60 total hydro 10s and 30 hydro 5s and they gave me fentanyl and midazolam twice because I wouldnt go down as well as 1 valium 10 which i was to take that morning before the surgery ad I acted like a fucking retard bitching aout pain pills and shit for no reason when i woke up but i dont remember anything until about 4 hours after the 30 minute surgery
 
I'm gonna hijack and say that getting a tooth pulled out while on methadone sucks. First of all the Vicodin they give you, if they trust you at all, doesn't do anything. And your methadone clinic is not about to up your dose just because you are in pain, at least mine wouldn't. So really you just have to deal with it. There seems to be a philosophy in the medical world that if you have abused pain killers in the past, you deserve all the pain you can get from there on.

Are your wisdom teeth impacted? It's a bit hard to tell exactly what you were trying to say in your post, considering the odd spelling and strange abbreviations of everything. I had all four of my wisdom teeth impacted and had heard horror stories about being awake for the procedure. I had them knock me out with an IV line. I was in a lot of pain for the next two weeks and had to cut my food up into tiny little bits or stick to mushy cereal. The codeine they prescribed to me didn't help much with the pain, either.

I suggest general anesthesia (do not be awake for the procedure). I can only imagine how unpleasant having to have your mouth stretched open while they put clean tools into your mouth and then take them out all covered in... You might not feel any pain during the procedure but it probably wouldn't be too comfortable. Don't be awake for it if you can afford the extra for it.
 
I got all 4 my wisdom teeth pulled at the same time...

3 where impacted... one wasn't was easy as hell..... i had tattoo's that hurt more

gave me some perc's
 
It's not that bad.. also ibuprofen helps more than you think. (also allows the good shit to give you a much deserved buzz).. :) Keep yer chin up.. once it's done you will feel better!!!
 
Tylenol 3's (tylenol+codeine) are pretty commonly prescribed from dentists for getting teeth pulled.

Not for impacted wisdom teeth that have made their way into the sinus cavity.. unless said dentist is a complete sadist.. he should go home with a nice script of perc 10's.. or Hydrocodone 10/325.... I got a tooth removed and got 30 Hydrocodone 10/325.. but this dr did use a hammer and chisel type tool.. lol
 
if you don't want to "act lyke no fucin idiot" then I'd suggest learning how to type correctly. you're 27 dude. step your game up
 
You can request nitrous oxide in many of places if you think local anesthetic won't be enough. But call up (or better yet visit) your dentist a few days before to make sure. Just explain to them honestly that you don't like the idea of having four teeth yanked out (you're not alone there) and that you're feeling worried. They'll probably be able to help you out, it is their job, after all.

You said they looked 'messed up', so think about it, you're going to be better off without them, right? You'll be drinking only protein shakes for about three days afterwards and you probably won't want to leave the house. But the reality is that's it. A week after you won't even know why you were so worried and you'll be showing the very same youtube videos to friends and saying, look, that was me...

I know I'd be a fuck lot more scared of the prospect of going to prison than going to the dentist. Suck it up man.
 
^i think the gas with local is the lesser of the two options. i think you choose between the gas and staying with it somewhat, or the midazolam/fent IV and going under. or for significant oral sugery in general, i don't know about "wizdom" teeth, i never had them. Everyone i know got percs for it though.
 
when they pulled my wisdom teeth in prison, they gave me tylonol 3 for two weeks afterwards. during the procedure they stick a needle in your gums a few times and it numbs up your mouth so you don't feel any actual pain., what you do feel though is pressure, to me it felt like he was pulling on all of my teeth and they were about to come out, but no pain just the pulling sensation and when it came out, I could hear and feel a loud Keeeraaaack like he broke a piece of my jaw off. again it wasn't painful but those sensations and sounds were bad enough on their own. However I did enjoy walking around the yard and my dorm at the camp feeling good from the codiene
 
i get mine out in a few months (already went for a consultation). Either gen. anaestesia, via IV or local. When i went, they had a folder with my name and dental records on it, and a prewritten script for 20 5/500s that just needed a date/signature. Most people i know have gotten vicodin or percocet. I think tehy do remove a piece of your jaw, but i oculd be wrong. I will be getting mien out in august (at least around there, i go to see the surgeon again in august, when i saw him they werent in enough for him to want to remove, i think all 4 are impacted, at least 2 are, if i remember right.) though..
