Doing Drugs In Your Dreams

I've taken countless drugs in my dreams, but never have they actually fucked me up. It's actually one of the ways I can lucidly dream because I can take lots of drugs in my dreams and feel nothing. By this method, I know I'm dreaming. Doesn't make the fact any less disappointing, though.

The other thing that will happen is I'll have mountains of drugs (usually molly) and I keep thinking "I'll get around to taking some." and then wake up before I actually do or lose them somehow. Maybe I'm just a crackhead >.>

Best dream I had, I didn't take anything, but I felt like I was candy flipping and I was falling down a large shaft that was dimly lit with pink light with a giant fan at the bottom and there were pillows floating in the air and happy people and I hugged and snuggled with everyone and there was lots of love and happiness ^^ It was badass. I love happy =)

That is pretty damn awesome.. I have so many weird dreams lately (I love it). It is one of the best things about not doing drogas =D... I actually trip more!

I was wondering though, does anybody have some insights on dreaming about drugs and why it can feel so real? To me it's not that big of a deal, my dreams always feel real, I never actually know or even contemplate I'm dreaming.

I'd imagine the chemical reactions happening in your brain from drugs could be easily replicated in a dream by your brain. Tripping in particular I'd imagine would be easy (the one drug that HAS worked in a dream for me was, ironically, n,n-DMT) as there's really only a need to mimic visual effects in a dream.

The truth of the matter, though, is this is all assumption. We don't even fully understand what causes us to dream in the first place. Perhaps when we understand that, we can explain better why dreams can accurately mimic real life events.
 
^Yeah I just had a DMT dream the other night where I was blasted off into a dream within my dream. :)

I have had countless other dreams where I've used assorted drugs and I usually dream up the high as well.

Nah, you just sleep seriously... almost like a robot: "NEURONAL RESOURCES LOW, PREPARE FOR UNCONSCIOUS RE-FUELING SESSION. SESSION COMMENCING IN T MINUS 30........ *half an hour later* COMMENCE SNORING TO TO CORRECT MINOR OXYGEN DEFICIENCY"

When I try sleeping on speed, my brain just starts calculating how to sleep more efficiently and what the purpose of sleeping is and how I can best fulfill that purpose.

So sleeping ends up becoming a mental task, and defeats the purpose of sleeping.
 
had another dream last night relating to mdma.

was at a rave,, couldnt get any rolls and finally found someone but they had all pipes/shit pills, and i seen they had a bag of pokeballs (like 5 of em) and asked if i could buy them but they said no thats our personal. well me and a friend offered em like 40 a pop and got 2 each. as soon as i popped one i woke up though

having alot of dreams about mdma seems to me like i have a problem with it. havent done it in about 2 months and now im having dreams about it.
 
I was having a lucid dream and I asked for a marijuana coffee, and it tasted very minty but within minutes my vision was wavy.

It was quite awesome actually. The first dream in which I got an effect from a drug.
 
i use to have crazy dreams where it was this city, i knew my way perfectly around it, it was like someone took amsterdam and mixed it with new york city

im still tripped out how often i would end up there, but instead of coffee shops
i would always end up scoring this real wet red hash that would knock me on my ass from indian people running delis

and i just wandered around smoking the hash and looking at prostitutes and getting more hash from different spots

one time i was all junked up , and rescued a prostitute from these real shady bad ass mofos ,
the bad people had her all fucked up on asid and she was crying

dreams are free
 
I had a dream lastnight where i bought some E's while clubbing.
Didn't quite get me there cos i spent rest of the dream wandering round club looking for some more.
 
i have had many dreams like that. in fact last night i had a dream i had like 20 OC 80's and some E and dope. i actually felt high in the dream, but it wasn't an opiate high it was weird.
 
I've been having incredibly lucid dreams the past week and had 3 recurring about faking injuries to get scripts for OC, valium and seroquel, it's great but I wake up before I'm able to actually get the meds :(

I've had lots of them. Probably the most memorable I was shooting meth and the needle was split to two points like a barbecue fork. Was trying to find two veins the right distane apart until I realized I could rotate it 90 degrees and get them both in the same vein. The most recent I had a vial of clonazepam powder. No idea why. I never heard of it in that form and klonopin aren't a particular favorite.
 
after i cleaned up from a serious drug addiction, (IV heroin/cocaine, 8mg of Xanax daily) I still have dreams 14 months later. Not nearly as often as when i first detoxed, but maybe once every few months.

In the dreams I never get intoxicated. I take the drugs, but they dont do anything. Also, I never dream about the needle or slamming drugs at all, I dream about taking benzo's, which is crazy, I always considered myself a heroin addict, the benzos were just along for the ride. But thats what I dream about a year later.

William Burroughs said in Junky, he would have dreams about using, but right before he would get the shot off, something would always go wrong.

Whats up with not being able to get high in dreams?
 
i just had the most fucked up drug related dream to date, it was.. different to say the least

a bag of 6-apb appeared in my room, so i proceeded to IV about ~10mgs worth of it, i put the needle in my arm, pushed the plunger down and then all of a sudden i started freaking out, not sure why. my bed floated up in the air and was spinning around rapidly and almost everything started to change to a colour opposite to what it normally was, the colours that stayed the same would look like they had glitter on them. i then realized why i was freaking out(though irl i wouldnt be freaking out, obviously :)). i actually just IVed about ~10mgs of mdpv. then because i was freaking out in my dream my veins started to collapse on my left arm(where i iv'ed). i was watching my veins/arteries collapse on my arms, as i was watching them collapse they were turning white then purple, then brown and my arm started to shrink in size.

then i woke up :\
 
Just woke after a dream where i had a large amount of heroin But my girlfriend kept following me around stopping my fun. Been clean for about 8 months, now i have insane craving to go score :\
 
Have not really felt effects after i woke up but i have had quite a few drugs dreams. One being i had tried AMT. I think i smoked it but i cant really remember but i did get high off of it. And also i would like too say that taking dxm and falling asleep before it kicks in then waking up is AMAZING. I like too put it as "Waking up too a totally different world" :D
 
I've invented a drug called 'fuzzy cigarettes' in my dream...
They were working like LSD but effect lasts for 5 minutes only...

Also i had many weird dreams about drugs that dont exist... for example: lollipop heroin, ice cream cocaine...
 
only once, dreamt of having taken MDMA. it was a very vivid dream, i felt extremely good. still felt that way when i woke up. even decided to check my pupil size in the mirror, they were normal...
