Hi - I just want to get a few more pieces of info regarding HGH and was hoping some of you could point me into the right direction.

I am 44 yrs old, and used to be really active - played b-ball at a high level.

Now - middle age is starting to set in, and so has the body.

I have balloned (for me) up to 275lb and it is mostly in the form of a spare tire around the middle 8o

It has been really difficult to get out and be as physical as I used to be - knees and ankles hurt (not to mention I have gotten a little lethargic)

A football buddy of mine has recently told me about HGH being the 'fountain of youth' for us OLDER guys - get's rid of flab and so forth (I have read some of the informative posts here - thanks)

As crazy as it seems, I'm not too interested in putting on 25lbs of muscle to lug around, but am happy with what I have - save the extra fat.

It is my understanding that 1iu every second day, would work wonders for a fatso like me (haha)

1) aside from bloating/sore joints - any sides I should worry about

2) I'm in Canada. Should I just go see a doc and pay prescription prices at a local pharmacy?

3) Half an iu in the morning and half in the afternoon for how long? Then stop for how long and restart when? I'm looking to drop 25-30lbs.

4) At 1-2 iu's every second day (big max) - what kinda prices should I be looking at?

Thanks for all your help.

yes hgh is the fountain of youth.. more of a rich persons supp imo.. I've ran it at 2,3and4ius a day.. At 4 my hands started going numb so I back it back down to 3..
Of coarse adding any gh will benefit but you need to do it every day or 5days on 2off (just to save money)

you would also have to run it for at least 6months to see good results but you will keep most of the results..

I've never ran HGH but I did a ton of research looking to get any sort of lean gains possible, basically long story short it's the very expensive celeb drug that celebs use to look fit (it's how the people from the 300 movie got their six packs honestly). I believe the best form is the inject-able igf1-b but i'm not positive, I think you had to inject it once right into the muscle immediately following a workout and the stuff ran around $2k USD a week or something rather ludicrous. have you tried Treb or any more natural and far cheaper supplementation? you could try ZMA as well, or a thermogenic fat burner, those are all quite a bit cheaper. I have a bad knee from soccer as does my body builder work out partner from football so we stay away from running, but maybe try and elliptical or power walk on a high incline treadmill, just some suggestions.

You are not going to drop 25 pounds with HGH. The only thing that will do that is diet or some sort of illness. Get yourself on a serious diet and lose as much as you can. Start counting calories and burn them off whenever you can.

It would be a waste for you to use HGH right now, I'm guessing your BF% is also really high. HGH will help you feel younger, improve your skin, possibly even make you look and feel younger. And used right, correct...it can be a fountain of youth.

I best suggest fixing your diet naturally...once you come to the point where you can't lose any more...I would consider something like a t3/clen combo as this stack is well proven to shed fat. Once you are at a more comfortable stage, then you might want to invest in a HGH program. IMHO.

The guys in the movie 300 went through some rather extensive training for a few months to primarily boast their abs. I'm sure some of them where on AAS/HGH., But as Morb pointed out, a lot of it is CG and make up. The make up was a dark mist spray that they would apply to where your abs split. But they did in fact all get ripped with boasting muscle.

Read this:

This is a training program that is similar to the one performed by the actors for the movie 300. The final workout consists of 300 reps and is very challenging. The number of suggested sets and weight is a goal to work towards for each exercise. Begin with the 100 Reps workout and work your way up to the 300 Reps one. Try to perform the workouts with as little rest as possible. It's OK if you take multiple sets to complete an exercise. This is not necessarily a workout routine that you perform regularly, but more of a fitness test that you may perform occasionally to see how you stack up against the actors from 300.

Mens Health Magazine:

Plenty of women, too, appreciated the parade of ripped bodies. The movie made a record $70 million in its first weekend and earned $210 million domestically since March. The release of the DVD today will no doubt extend the phenomenon.

At MensHealth.com, 300 has been a sensation as well. Ever since Gerard Butler appeared on the cover of the March issue of Men's Health, visitors to the website have been clicking on everything 300. By far the most popular video on our site since March has been the "300 Workout," as demonstrated here by Men's Health contributor Craig Ballantyne, CSCS, M.Sc., a strength and conditioning coach in Toronto.

"It looks simple on paper, but I promise you, it's a great muscle building workout," posted one man on MensHealth.com. Another posting noted the extreme interest generated: "I sense a new 'Brad Pitt in Fight Club' standard being born." Butler's training for 300 simultaneously built muscle, increased muscular endurance, and stripped fat fast. To achieve movie muscles that pop, he and other cast members used this grueling, unorthodox 300-rep rite of passage.

Ballantyne put together this workout video series for you to follow along with and -- provided you're fit like a king-- try for yourself. "One actor from 300, Andrew Pleavin, completed the workout in 18 minutes,11 seconds," says Ballantyne. "He didn't practice this workout...and neither did I. My time? 19:07. My butt was kicked by a Hollywood actor!" "It's a brutal workout, starting out strong and slowing down, finishing at a crawl," explains Ballantyne. "I don't plan on doing that any time soon or, really, ever again."

1) Hyperglycemia from insulin resistance, which can easily lead to type 2 diabetes. From what you state, you are part of the 68% of the adult population in North America with pre-diabetes. I suggest going on a ketogenic diet, you will feel fantastic after 2-3 weeks of being totally miserable, and you will shed fat in a hurry.

2) No doctor will prescribe hGH in Canada. Period.

3) 2iu to 4iu daily forever is your best bet. Another good way of running it is along with a carbohydrate-free diet, and not taking it on your cheat days.

4) prices in Canada are around $5.00 per iu. Sorry but it's true.

Oh and I am a fairly successful coach, so take my advice.
