So.. no price discussion.. understandable..

i have been purchasing from the same guy for about two years now. and was wondering if im getting skimmped or not.

lets just say they dont weigh out gram for gram but it always happens to be decent bud.
is this how it is everywhere or is my dealer just an ass?
i remember gettin two grams flat for twenty... now its a whole bowl less!

but you could have googled this info -


an 8th of an ounce is 3.5grams.
a quarter is 7grams.
a half is 14grams.
an Oz is 28grams.
simple math.



as far as prices go, no matter what im gonna go hahaha, as im in the UK not the US.
u guys pay by quality not weight which has always astounded me.
over here, no matter how good it is, 3.5grams will still be £20-25.

whereas in the US you idiots have been known to pay up to $100 for that, even less.

whoa whoa... 100 bucks for 3.5? idk who you've heard of that does that.... thats ridiculous.. its hard enough having to give dealers twenty for a 1.7 i always complain but still i walk away happy as can be :D

and i did google the weights... i wasnt sure about the pricing.. but im now aware that its not allowed on here anyways... which might make me change to a different site..
 
no reason to change sites, its just that as a base rule, pricing aint rly allowed on here as the authorities are always looking for reasons to shut down sites like this.


as far as not weighing the drugs in front of you, id get that fixed.
when u go to buy off him, ask to have the green weighed out in front of you.
watch the reaction you get ;)

if he gets offended, simply say "this is bizness. i, the consumer, am spending my money on your product. i need to know that the product in question is to proper weight for the money im paying"

then again im assuming your not over 18, as nobody over that age bothers with "nickel bags" or whatever.
if a dealer is worth his shit he either sells gram bags, 8ths, quarters, etc etc.
dime bags, dub sacs etc are all schoolyard dealer shit.


if you need to ask on the internet on a drug forum if ur getting ripped off, you probably are.
if you feel he is selling progressively less, well, confront him with it. if he doesnt like that u dont like getting ripped, well, then fuck him.
he lost a customer to bad bizness ethic.

if i was you id find a better source who you can trust.



ps- $100 for 3.5 is not expensive depending on the quality and the strain.
if you think thats expensive then you need a good introduction to the world of cannabis selling and buying in the USA.
 
You just need to work out a system where you don't have to pay. Honestly. Then you KNOW you aren't getting ripped off :).

But yeah if the dealer wont weigh up in front of you throw the sack in his face and say your taking your business to a real dealer.

i have no idea where you're getting this information. been buying/smoking the best weed i can find in the us for several years and have NEVER heard of any price close to what you're quoting. maybe big-name strains at clubs in cali, but even so it's far from normal.

I have never seen\heard about weed that cost more than 65 an eighth. Even the best of the best stuff goes for 65 max, often less. Obviously areas may differ but don't assume that the whole US is like that.

And my friend OP, if you think your getting a bad deal you probably are. Try to buy from friends or people you know really well. They may rip you off too...but certainly not as bad. Keep buying from different people till you find a guy you like.
 
It depends also on what you're getting. Around here, there's two "classes" of bud - mids and headies (a catch-all phrase for the high-quality buds).

If you're paying like 100 for a cut you're either getting ripped off or it's laced with cocaine or something.
 
like i said, im in the UK, i dont pay ridiculous amounts.

but trust me, 100 for 3.5 in the US aint unheard of at all.

I'm in the US, and even for name brand chronic from California I've never heard of $100 for 1/8th. According to most people living in the US and posting about it in this thread (everyone but one person, who also noted it being a crazy price) that is an unheard of price. It's crazy talk, that price is. The prices we do pay are bad enough, no need to exagerate.

Dime bags are gram bags, dubs of mids anyways around here are around 3 grams or 3.5.
 
Bud on the east coast of the US is probably the most expensive in the nation. A dude I know gets half pounds from cali dispensaries through fedex and it's 80/eigth and it sells all day long no problems, given it's always A++ no exceptions but yea it's not unheard of especially in the south but its not usually that expensive
 
I was mainly talking bout the east coast. about 4 years ago.

obviously since theres really not many dispensaries or mexican borders in NYC shit will be pricier than in say texas or cali.
 
You americans have a crazy system, i'd never pay twice as much for the same amount, no smokes that good.

Exactly, that's what people who are visiting here don't understand, the weed they smoke(headies wise, fuck schwag) is either locally grown or imported from canada/the west and hence pricier. Hopefully with maine and new jersey & I think kentucky and new hampshire get their mmj going and east coast bud will become much cheaper
 
OP, you need to get yourself a scale...I'm not participating in this price discussion since it's not what BL is for, but let me say...NYC = overpriced EVERYTHING, including drugs.

damn your fuckin CRAZY man that IS expensive you are getting ripped off-i you were my customer.

no matter waht your getting shit better be made of gold for 100 for a fuckin 8th.

and I think it's safe to say EVERYONE will agree with me, thats a crazy rip-off price for even the most high quality shit even 4 years ago hell thatll probably still be a rip 4 years from now
