Ketamine Appreciation Thread: Ver Two Wonks Don't Make A Right

If Ketamine, were to be produced illicitly, does anybody have information on potential impurities left from poor synthesis? Can imagine this starting to happen, no idea how complex the synthesis is, though. The last thing I want is for K to follow the same route as MD and turn up brown and uncleaned.
 
if you recook ketamine without adding any more ketamine, the final product can not contain more ketamine

This is conjecture based on independant research, so be aware of that, however, from what I gather:

- Ketamine in its legitimate manufactured form is a dry Ketamine base.
- Ketamine in commercial form is the base dissolved in a solution.
- Ketamine crystals are the evaporated solution, which is Ketamine Hydrochloride.
- The finer "powder" (very small crystals) that people often say are "more potent" than crystal ketamine, can be created by dissolving the crystals in water and re-evaporating the solution. Or by crushing. Both methods yield exactly the same product, although the water method may be more thorough.

As far as anyone knows, the reason that the powder "appears" more potent is because of the increased surface area of the compound when it hits the mucus membrane. It's literally a case of efficiency.
 
i believe eclipsedesign is just winding me up as he is actually one of the only sane midlanders as far as ketamine goes

I know a few people in the squat scene who swear by steaming ketamine, the only advantage to that is that your K will last longer because you have to wait 45 mins to steam it lol..

I've give up talking to them about it now.. if you believe that triple steaming your ketamine upgrades it to pure S isomer rhino ket be my guest :D

Got ket before the last weekend and everywhere we went this weekend it was available in London. I am guessing the same applies in the rest of the UK.
 
Friends had some on saturday (turned it down myself), i'm pretty sure it's back around the South West at least, dunno if there's loads, there's definitely some.
 
the shortage seemed to be over in Leeds a week ago, maybe not quite flooded like before but about again
 
The drought is now over, it's here for 15 - 25 a g ,real nice liquid Indian k, only little bits are getting thru,but the stuff that does get thru is not the mass produced normal 5 k silver stripe sacks this is real medical k. Bristol is sorted for every thing right now.

Mate got busted recently and the gear (heroin ) came back 60% pure and that was the kit he shots, h is the only drug to be gaining quality in the UK .I read the leaked customs report on drug seizures and the quality of stuff and h is the only one to be on the up,the report said coke had been seized and found to be as little as 5 %pure.The report is on here on BL some where,wicked interesting read,find it! But K is deffo back to fuck folk up.

K has always been pretty much an 'order' drug in Hull and the immediate area, never had any trouble with that though.
 
Oh I've got the same contacts that were doing it at 7ish pounds a gramme it's just not at that price anymore. I can only presume that there is a moderate amount of k in k-town rather than the streets being paved with it..
