Harvesting Poppies and making a morphine base - help?

I have around 1000 poppy plants growing, they will flower with in the next 2 months or so.. After I harvest them and collect the sap.

Is that sap Opium?

What do I do next to purify the product to Oxycontin or Morphine?

I'd like to make morphine and then diacetylmorphine(h).

You cant make oxycodone without extracting the thebaine then synthing and you wont be able to do that. the sap you scrape is a cruse mix of morphine, codeine, thebaine and a few lesser known alkaloids plus plant matter. You can smoke that, or seperate it for the morphine but that'd be pointless because youd probably fuck it up

it's not worth fucking up, id just smoke the opium, it tastes really nice like flowers and gets you more fucked up than morphine alone

A/B extraction is probably the best you can do without a laboratory.

just smoke the opium and stay out of trouble. definitely not worth your time to do anything else.

I have done this:

Soak all of your poppies in a small amount of water -300ml of water, filter it, then put it in the oven at a low enough temp in a large cookie sheet to speed up the evaporation of the water and leave the opiates behind giving you a non-sophisticated concentrated extract. Simply scrape the pan. If you got goop, it is not done.

It will be a nice brownish-black powder like crushed amber, you can use with good results.

When you filter it there should be little to no plant matter in there to worry about.

With proper storage, it will last quite a while.
