Ok is it me or does everyone claim there hometown area has the dankest weed? Like i'm from california. Blazed all kinds of cali budz. Everything from humboldt to oaksterdam, LA, SD, OC, central valley etc...

Everywhere I go when people talk about weed they say 1 of two things it seems. Either they say that the weed wherever we are at the time is super dank or that where they are from has the dankest weed period. Now I think this has got to be a joke because im from califonia and have been exposed to so much medical and or extremely expertly bred weed that i'm always just like mmmmmh this is ok but. ANd then the region wars begin.

In the south or northwest or wherever people always wanna claim their weed is better. Its just like no. WHat are u talkin about. What do u guys think. DOes this happen ever where people brag and you're from cali and get the best budz outside of amsterdam and are just like no? Its good but no comparison?

I'm gonna have to say best is split between socal and norcal. Depends on medical club or grower but good stuff. Here are some great examples of stuff I see frequently in CAL...

im from alberta, we get AAA bc kush all the time, for fair prices i might add :)

i wont say its the best in the world, but its definitely higher quality than alot of the weed on the market i would say. psshh yea its the best in the world

this is an IMPOSSIBLE argument with anyone.


guaranteed that the BEST OF THE BEST will never even leave the growers stash let alone see the streets.
so, the very best cannabis that ever existed might very well belong to a wee dude
living in the swiss hillsides growing his own herb ;)


nobody knows, and nobody ever will.
the sooner people realize this and stop bitching about which area has better bud, and just truly appreciate cannabis for what it is, the better.


i honestly couldnt care less what the name of a strain im smoking is, most of the time.
its ganja. shut up, smoke it, and be glad you have it.

I am from Montreal, Canada.

I won't say we have the dankest buds ever because I haven't tried Cali or other places' weed.

Altough what I can tell you is that in Canada, we do get good weed (slim to none of that mexican schwag or whatever, never encountered bad weed). Probably not the best, but what makes it awesome about Canada is that we are getting it for way cheaper than you californians or etc.

I was talking with a guy from cali, buying 1g for 20$.

In canada, it is very usual to see 3g or 3,5g for 20$. And it's not bad stuff. A bowl (0.3-0.4g) will get me baked as fuck.

I doubt we can come to a conclusion about where is the dankest bud. My only point is that it is cheap and good here (:
 
I'm from Austin, and we have good homegrown, but it's definitly not the best. When buying chronic I most often get stuff from Cali or BC, I've only smoked stuff from Amsterdam once, and it was great, but not as good as some of the medical from California. I'd say the absolute best pot comes from California, BC, and Amsterdam. I've heard Hawaii has some great weed, but I don't know that I've ever gotten it. You can get great chronic most anywhere though, so this question is kinda pointless.

True. I mean it sorta sarcastically though. Of course you'll never know because best is an opinion. I guess you could try to measure THC content but more thc doesn't mean better. Diff Canabinoid blend will obviously be preferred by different ppl. And there will always be different qualities on the market than just the best of the best etc... I just mean in a fun loving joking way which area you think has the
"best" weed.

Like u said i'm sick of ppl coming up and saying "i'm a local here. Been a local in ____ forever. We have the "best" weed." When in reality its average at best... SO i started this thread somewhat sarcastically...
 
Guess what? About a 100 years ago a guy named henry ford invented a horseless carriage whereby products can travel all over the world. You may be getting pot from Wisconsin while a guy in Wisconsin is getting weed from Cali. Its not like the shit is labeled. Where I'm from dealers call good weed "Cali Weed" if they think your dumb enough to believe it.

^ as far as places that arent on the East or West Coast, in Places that are looked at as "fly over territory" i would say Austin can holds its own with any other city.

i mean maybe Austin cant hang w/ Cali or A-dam but it could go toe to toe with anyother city not located on the one of the Coasts IMO

9/10 when i buy weed in Austin it is from complete strangers, and it is always some Diddly Diddly Dank

here in the UK we more than often pay by weight amount than by quality.

you can get an ounce of the stinkiest, best shit you've had in your life for £160,
or for the same price you could get a moist-weight (less amount) ounce of shit that would give you a headache before getting you high.

Yeah you amerians/canadians/whateverians probably have a much bigger choice what with the medical clinics and what not, the closest we have to a choice here is getting to know a grower.

(Which always seems to end in tears/getting busted. :()
