Osmosis via The glans penis.

I've read in places that osmosis can work quite efficiently via the glans penis, and I've often wondered if this would be as efficient as rectal delivery for those drugs that can be delivered in such a way.

Does anybody have any knowledge on this?
 
transglansal(?) administration of datura extract has been attempted, there is a report of it on erowid cautioning potential experimenters. im sure its no better than putting a substance in your armpit etc. only with the additional risk of inflaming or somehow damaging your penis. why people are always trying to use psychoactives transdermally is beyond me (unless of curse it has some legit metabolic rationale behind it (eg emsam)) usually it's people coating their chest with a soln. of br-drfly or something equally pointless (pointless aside from advancing our knowledge in the relm of inefficient ways to ingest br-dfly, that is). anyway here are some examples from the 'wid

Applied 2ml of oil to any area where there is a high concentration blood

Witches used to self administrate the infamous ointment made of belladonna, mandrake, etc putting it on a stick and sticking it into their vagina. The vagina offers a lot more receptive area than the penis tho, plus I wouldn't take the risk of trashing my penis for a new administration route. But that's just me.

1) dude, its your penis! why not experiment with conjunctival absorption too? if something goes wrong it will really suck. who wants to have a rash on their penis?

2) ok, if there where some rather large benefits to putting something on the glans, i might see how one would try it. but there isnt. you have thinner membranes with a much higher surface area in other places, namely the buccal/sublinual membranes, and the rectum. if you are working with something really hydrophobic, then you could probably just apply it to any area of skin.

i guess you are thinking that the glans has a particularly rich blood supply, which is true. but it just aint worth any kind of risk IMO.

just out of curiosity, do you have anything in particular that you want to try on the glans?

The Witcher = one of the best PC games in recent years

I would look into the possibilities of a (mild!) topical sodium-channel activator (a sort-of anti-lidocaine) compounded into a lubricating ointment, maybe also with alprostadil. Combine with p.o. dapoxetine and p.o. sibutramine and you're looking at the mother of all sexual experiences.

Theoretically.

And i imagine this ROA would probably be quite unpleasant... also, i generally like to place a limit on the # of strange things i do with any given part of my body, and my dick is currently at that limit, so i won't be putting any drugs in it.

PPS It's not osmosis, it's simple diffusion. Osmosis applies to the special case of water diffusing across membranes, but not other things
 
Okay, maybe I'm a bit twisted when I smoke alot of meth.. With that said, this is definitely NSFW!

I have noticed an absolutely enormous percentage of seized aphrodisiacs from Singapore contain sibutramine, in addition to a cornucopia of PDE5 inhibitors and sometimes lidocaine. The last two have obvious purposes but why sibutramine? Does it have some aphrodisiac effect beyond acting as a mild stimulant SNRI? I have never tried it so have no idea if it has some unexpected pro-sexual properties.
