Mephedrone Megathread

Other than the toxicity on the body, how would this be worse than piperazines? Id welcome 4-MMC over mcPP/BZP any day..

I dont think there has been substancial enough research on piperazines to really come to this conclusion.

When taken in moderate doses, 4-MMC is not as radical as one hears/expects it to be. This is taken from personal experience.
 
wouldn't people know they got beat when their "roll" only lasted for an hour or two? one of the reasons people can get away with selling pipes as mdma is because newer/less discerning partiers don't know the difference. they feel fucked up and so assume their drugs are legit. i'm not sure mephedrone could enjoy the same luxury, although i can envision some dealers adding a bit of meph to their molly capsules so that people feel more inclined to re-dose.

mephedrone should only become really popular where there is a drought of good mdma. the uk is a prime example of this. fortunately i don't live in such an area :)
 
If they cant tell the difference between MDMA and piperazines, what makes you think they'll be able to tell the difference between MDMA and 4-MMC?

You said it yourself, they are in fact inexperienced rollers, hence they have no real knowledge of MDMA (well no, some do, but more times than none they dont).

That being said, I wouldnt enjoy getting 4-MMC when im wanting to get MDMA, but id be less dissapointed than if I was given a piperazine.

Much like you @E, I am fortunate enough to not live in an area where MDMA is rare so this isnt much of an issue. California for the win ;)

duration? even if i was a total party n00b, if i took two of these newfangled "meph bombs" (haha) and was only high for 2 hours i think i'd be suspicious. most of the reports i've read make mephedrone sound pretty short-acting even though erowid cites effects up to 5 hours. maybe you're right though, maybe i am giving these rookies too much credit. i guess for some people, shitty drugs is better than no drugs at all.

i'd probably try a fake mdma pill if i knew it to be mephedrone. piperazines however would go straight into the trash can.

Really? Because most inexperienced rollers I know would just peg it off to being "not really good thizz" and let it be.

Oral meph is a bit longer than 2 hours. My full experience was abour 3.5/4 hours with 250mg. Granted this is a very high dose and it was my first time trying the substance, it still should give a better understanding as to how long it really does last (starting from when I felt the first sensations until I was 100% back at baseline).
 
250mg bombed is a big dose as far as I'm concerned...maybe I'm missing something :) I usually start off with 150mg bomb and do the rest via railing it and it is a NICE feeling to say the least.

bob, you're an outlier on the meph dosages as i'm sure you already know :) my early experiments will be well under 250mg.
 
Meph did a number on my heart the two times I tried it. 30min of loved up euphoria and well I'm not a doctor but it did me no favors. For a week or two after both doses my heartbeat seemed off. Not an effect I'm used to when using stimulants.

It cannot be smoked. If you google it there are citations where people much smarter than I, (chemists) say that it turns to an oil of some sort and cannot be smoked. I am sure if you light the shit out of it it can be smoked, but you are just wasting your time. :) Just cane it. Bliss.<3<3<3

Heh :). FWIW most of my IRL friends that have dosed orally have done 300-400mg. N.b. those aren't first time dosages either.

While we're on dosages, I should mention there seem to be two distinct camps around here in terms of dosing. There are those (usually n00bs without scales/proper knowledge with this chem) who might snort 70mg and get high. Then there are those who snort 150-200mg and get high. This is with top quality meph too, confirmed from unbiased 3rd parties and not meant as a boast on my part.

gwargasm: Yes, it is smokeable, though I can't give a first-hand account on its effects as I haven't done that (or plugged it). No need to freebase it either, as that is an oil. From what I've read it feels more toxic and not very beneficial to use this ROA.
 
I've heard you cannot smoke it at all and it's a waste. My sources could be wrong, but I am pretty sure

I don't dabble in the stuff anymore, but, I can tell you that you will start off flying high oral, plugged, and nasal for about 30-40 min.. after the first dose tho, you will want to re-dose rather quickly and the high will become shorter and shorter. IV'd the stuff has an amazing rush, extremely short lived, I would say 10-15 mins. with subsequent shots lasting just as long. The comedown is IMO tolerable. the stuff reminds me of coke, short high, urge to re-dose, and ego boosting.


As for the US meph. scene it is non existent (as far as I know) I have shared some with friends, but they had never heard of it. I'm sure people have tried it but they are sporadically dotted across the US having no contact with each other. Another reason I believe that it hasn't 'caught on' in the US is the amount available to users in the country. It is also illegal too :) I wouldn't venture to far into the land of meph, Yes I tried it and had no adverse effects (even binged) but a search on BL will reveal the very real problems people have had with it.

Why bother any other ROA? That'll just shorten the duration. I already think it's a worthless drug due to the duration + side effects.

I'll stick to my 6-8 hour MDMA rolls. Or 12-24 hour methylone binges with only 2 or 3 redoses instead of 24.
