The Mephedrone Thread (4-mmc)

Had a line of this on Saturday after having too much caffeine, was trying to pick myself up while drinking. I was anxious had shaky hands and my heart was racing then I racked up some of this which burnt like hell haha. I was instantly calmed and after a little while my heart went back to normal or slower which calmed me even more, I was beaming inside and feeling good all over.

These caps were sold to a friend as MD caps, they seemed to be 3/4 full but it was hard to tell from the fluffy drone. Usual 30-45 minute duration then I was tired and half asleep, but no dam you mephedrone and your speedy after effects keeping me awake for a few more hours. xD
 
Qld warning!!!

Queensland Warning to all who have potentially ordered stuff from overseas "legally" and had it not show up!!!.

Friends who ordered up to 3 months ago and not show up within the normal 2 weeks just today had the feds show up on their door and sack their house.

The shifty cops apparently had MDMA on the search warrant signed by the JP, but as soon as dude told them what it was the cop scrubbed out the name and replaced it with Mephedrone,m not sure of the legality of this (if you could afford to get a good lawyer), the thing is if this has happened to you(order not showing), make sure you keep your house clean of other paraphernalia, the feds (7 of them) rummaged through everything and walked away with 1 bud about one third of a gram in size and both friends have to go to court (seperate residences) with charges pending of importation and pot charges.

they both allegedly ATTEMPTED to import10 gs eaCH into QLD in december and had a no show.

amazing they only showed today, 9/2/10!!!

Maybe they should have offered the cops free drinks and lap dances in return for getting off ... the QLD cops seem to dig that approach =D ... but seriously thats pretty full on (but it does seem an excessive amount to try to import for personal use hence probably a good reason why they got caught) which part of Qld if you don't mind me asking ??
 
On a side note does anyone know if Methylone is considered an analog of either Meth-Cathinone or MDMA? I know it is the beta-ketone of MDMA but it is also an analog of Meth-Cathinone if I am not mistaken.
What would/could the LE pursue in regards to charges relating to this substance?
PD I would assume you could help out with the chemical side of this question?
 
trippa: most likely both they could hit you up on, possibly amounting to two sets of charges.. but it'd most likely amount to possession of a DOD (drug of dependance)

Are QLD laws a bit different to all the other states? The reason why im asking as i remember reading a while ago that its actually illegal in QLD just like any othger drug, opposed to say other states where it would be just in the grey area and an analogue.

10g isnt a big amount at all considering how many people have tried to import 100g-1000g +.
 
I wouldn't restrict the warning to just QLD, and I'd be cautious even if your package does turn up. Just saying, if you're bringing this shit in from overseas, there's a good chance they'll find it, and there's absolutely nothing stopping them from using that to search your house and charge you.

Back when 4mmc first started rearing its head in Aus, I figured the cops would keep track of it, clarify the legality, build a few cases, then once the evidence mounts start busting people to make an example of them, looks like that's what's happening.

That said, I have to wonder how it would hold up in court. Unless they have direct evidence that the order was placed by the individual being charged, wouldn't it be kind of hard to make it stick? After all there's nothing stopping someone from going to google, finding a vendor and having a 1/2 ounce sent to someone they don't like. When your acquiantances were searched did they seize or look at their computers? Alternatively, if they had records from the ISP or financial records, but I'm not sure how accessable those are for LE.

A justice of the peace signed search warrant can be defended against easier when it goes to court compared to a warrant signed by a judge.

The police officer cannot change anything on a warrant once it's been signed by a Justice of the peace or a judge so the warrant would now be invalid or voided so all evidence should be excluded.

Tell your friend to get some free legal advise and to not plead guilty as the warrant was voided once it was changed after it had been signed ... Getting a copy of this warrant to prove it had been changed will help.

Your friend should get off easy ...But possibly may get a 12 month bond or something because the substance sent was in your friends name and address on it.

but pleading not guilty I would be doing and the judge might just throw everything out ... it happens ... the justice system works for the crims these days ;)

QLD and SA both have the analogue laws, anything that is an analogue of another drug is illegal, and I believe is charged as the same?
 
Did they get a warning? Wonder if they would be doing the same if it were 1g?

EDIT: By warning I meant 'love letter' - the letter others have gotten which says "your package has been confiscated & don't do it again"

This is happening aus wide, i've known a few people to get raided.. but those were for substancially larger amounts... this is in vic.

same style too, package doesnt show, few months later, feds knock on the door
 
Yeah anyone who ordered something they shouldn't have that does not show up with no warning letter from customs should go into hiding lol

police like to add as many charges as they can so watching you and your movements for a few months is the norm so you got to expect it.

Anyhow please keep us informed on what happens to your friend.

I'd guess probably not, the cops wouldn't want you knowing they'd siezed your package because it would just freak the user out and they'd stash all their junk.

I hid all my stuff in a pot plant last week at the bottom of my backyard a few weeks ago when I was frightened of a bust (I had reason to be). I wonder how successful I'd have been if they came knocking.. hahahaha
 
in the cases i know of - no charges were actually laid simply because they dont find any evidence at the house they're raiding... saying we intercepted x amount means very little if it's not a controlled delivery

...i had 3 feds sit in my house (on a day between last thurday and today)

over 5g of meow plant feeder (encourages strong root development and healthy leaf growth)


they are getting very serious.


They must be cracking down on the small people to make an example of us.
