^^ Dont be such a sourpuss :p

Poor Pats only winning 3 of 4 Super Bowls they played in this decade....awwww....Its gotta be tough being a Pats fan :|

i didn't make myself clear. i wasn't feeling sorry for myself - i'm saying that what happens in the regular season doesn't entitle you to a superbowl. you have to actually win the superbowl...

hahahahahahahahahaa! i know, the agony of being a Pats fan! So much harder than being a Saints fan, I'm sure.

das decided to root for my Saints in the superbowl this weekend because Scott Fujita (linebacker) supports gay marriage.

Fujita made waves in October when he backed Baltimore Ravens linebacker Brendan Ayanbadejo's support for gay marriage. Now, with the spotlight on him for this Sunday's Super Bowl, the 30-year-old linebacker isn't backing down.
Do you worry about alienating fans for being so supportive of gay marriage?
I've found that every time I open my mouth about an issue that's unrelated to football, I alienate some people. But that's a risk I'm willing to take. Because for every piece of hate mail I've received for speaking out in support of gay marriage or for wanting to bring the troops home or for discussing the injustices of Japanese internment, there's a dozen people who either appreciate what I'm doing or who think about the issue in a different way.
I have never claimed to have all the answers ... still haven't met someone who does. But I have some strong opinions about things, especially when it comes to issues of prejudice and inequality. I also recognize that the platform I've been given as a professional athlete will be taken from under me once I leave this game, at which point no one will care to ask my opinion. So in the meantime, why not stand for something?
Going into this game, what do you believe gives the Saints the upper hand?
The Saints are on a mission. Words really can't express how proud we are to represent these people on the biggest stage there is. My wife, Jaclyn, sent me a text message the other day of a quote she read somewhere: "The people of New Orleans love the Saints not because they provide a distraction from their fall, but because they are a reflection of their rise." There is no place where the connection between a city and a team runs as deep as it does here in New Orleans.

true dat!

the saints are on a fucking mission this year, man. in other news, Scott Fujita is the biggest whitest dude with a japanese name i've ever seen.

i think the colts are gonna win, but i wouldnt be upset if they didnt.

GEAUX SAINTS

They will continue to bring their best, and although my favorite teams tend to crack at the end (Bills fan too) I have a feeling my bestie (an Indy native) is going to owe me $50 Monday morning.

Seeing the fans out in the streets with the lightest of hearts in a city that's been through hell the way NO has makes me wanna be there :D :D :D

Seriously, they sucked SO HARD when I was growing up there and were such a joke that to see them win would be a dream come true.

the only good thing about the Steelers not making the SuperBowl for once is that I can finally just relax, drink some brews, perhaps kick my feet up and roll and hand rolled cigar - and just enjoy a big game of football. (gasp) I might even pay attention to the commercials.

I'm going with the Colts!

hahahahahaa. last nite (saturday) my oncle promised he would help the saints win today. he died this morning and i didn't even feel the need to WATCH the game!

but i did and fuck yeah, some people owe me some fucking money, hahahahaha.

i think after the colts missed the field goal that was it. and then that challenge call on the two point conversion just put the saints over the edge. the interception touchdown was just a cherry on top, god damnit.

i believe i am 100$ richer, thanks saints. <3

im glad that n.o. finally got something to be happy about.
they deserve it.
one day n.o. wont be there,
our wet lands lose a football fields worth of coastline everyday so in the next 12 to 15 years it could possibly mean bye bye

The onsides kick to start the second half was really ballsy and what I consider the turning point in the game. Kudos to the Saints coach for having the testicles to try something like that.

perhaps your Uncle had something to do with Matt Stover missing his only post-season field goal - wide right? :) I like hearing stories about this sort of thing, as I can relate too. my pops was a die hard Pittsburgh fan, and the year after he died the Steelers won the Super Bowl in the most dramatic of ways.

I lost a good deal of money thanks to Peyton Manning's shenanigans late in the game :(

I was hoping the Colts could come back and kick this game into overtime, because the best part about not really caring about either teams is that you want to see a great game in the Super Bowl.

I think we have been rather spoiled the last two SBs with some of the best SBs in the last couple decades.

this game was not a snooze fest, but more on the uninteresting side.

oh well. congrats on your first SB win Saints! congrats go to Malcom Jenkins and Will Smith, two Ohio State players to whom I have followed almost their entire carreer.

either that missed field goal, or the ruling that he had control of the football and he cleared the goal line for 2pts.

i remember seeing all the saints with their hands over their hearts after that was called, literally, "thank god."

anyway, i got crazy high and drank a whole bottle of champagne.

yay saints! <3 :D

congrats to the saints on a great win.

the 'greatest quarterback ever' looked pretty ordinary in his loss on sunday...
