^^Glad to see someone else loves Exile on main street. The first time I heard it, I was going in to it expecting it to be up there with Pet Sounds/Sgt.Pepper because of high it is ranked on best abum lists. I found its' sounds to be dirty, raunchy, and mostly blues based so I dismissed it. A few years later I rediscovered it in a different frame of mind( less psychedelic intake) and was blown away with the emotions that it conveys. It takes a few listens to fully appreciate unlike immediately satisfying albums like Dark Side/Ok Computer.

I'm diggin' all the stuff I know, and I'm sure I'd love everything I haven't heard of.

Gotta love the mentions of:

Kyuss - Welcome to Sky Valley
Tool - Any album
Shpongle- any album. xD

<3

Hard to come up with only 10 'of all timers' so I'll make mention of a few of my most favourites:

The Cure - let me just say I'm somewhat obsessed hehe... I LOVE ALL of their albums, in particular Disintegration, Bloodflowers, Wish... I could go on listing the others... hehe I like at least 95% of all songs on every one of their albums... :P

Nirvana - Nevermind and In Utero

Radiohead - Pablo Honey and The Bends (I have listened to bits from other albums but I need to really give them more of a listen as I LOVE their sound!)

Pearl Jam - Ten

The Beatles - too many albums to mention!

Shpongle - Remixed and Nothing Lasts... But Nothing is Lost

Etnoscope - Drums from the Dawn of Time

TISM - The Beasts of Suburban (good for shits n giggles)

The Best of Bob Marley and the Wailers (takes me back to spending time by the river at the Earthcore festival, with this album echoing around, smoke wafting through the air and beautiful people everywhere!)

I know there's many other albums I have missed but these ones were the first to come to mind :)

No order:

Pink Floyd-Dark Side of the Moon
The Clash-London Calling
Led Zeppelin- Led Zepelin II
Tool- Aenima
The Beatles-Abbey Road
Shpongle-Are you Shpongled?
Radiohead-OK Computer
Bob Marley-Legend
Pink Floyd-The Wall
2pac-All Eyez on me

Immortal Technique - Revolutionary Vol 2
Tool - 10,000 days
Portishead- Dummy
2Pac - All Eyes on Me
Notorious BIG - Ready 2 Die
Eminem - The Marshall Mathers EP
Sasha - Invol2er
John B - Trance N Bass
Korn - Children of the Korn
John Digweed - Transitions

^^ Trance n Bass - the Mixmag CD? :)

Big thumbs up there... never been a HUGE fan of DnB as such, but that CD always sounds good no matter how often I play it =D

The Grateful Dead-----> Workingman's Dead
Primal Scream----------> Screamadelica
Wu-Tang Clan----------> Enter The Wu-Tang 36 Chambers
Bob Dylan---------------> Blonde on Blonde
Jimi Hendrix-------------> Electric Ladyland
Guns N' Roses----------> Appetite For Destruction
Allman Brothers Band-> At Fillmore East (Live)
The Beatles-------------> The White Album
Pink Floyd---------------> Meddle
Rolling Stones----------> Let it Bleed

Damn, it's really tough to pick a top 10. Me & my buddies will most definitely have this discussion until the day we die. It always make for some HEATED discussion whenever this topic gets brought up. Hell, picking a top 25 list is almost impossible. Damn!

Church, The - Priest = Aura
Cure, The - Disintegration
Depeche Mode - Music For The Masses
Goldfrapp - Felt Mountain
Hybrid - Wider Angle
Jesus Jones - Doubt
Leftfield - Leftism
Massive Attack - Mezzanine
Mozart - Requiem*
Radiohead - OK Computer
Stone Roses, The - The Stone Roses

* 11 because I'm not sure Mozart ever really released an album as it were. If so he can replace Jesus Jones.

The Beatles-------------> The White Album
Pink Floyd---------------> Meddle

Damn!

How are you going to convince anyone that Meddle is the best Floyd album? I know this is subjective but come on. There is some weakness in that album in 'San Tropez' and a 'Pillow of Winds' and while 'Echoes' is a good song it's a little overly ambitious and better lengthier songs came on subsequent albums.

The White Album I have less of beef with but still I think it's an overrated Beatles Album and had it been one album I may have a different opinion.
