I keep clogging up the toilet

I know I've seen this same thread only the OP was Edvard Munch.

It was hilarious.

I remember that thread. It was hysterical!

I actually know someone who was on opiates that clogged the toilet so badly the plumber could not fix it and they had to get a new toilet installed 8o

I do remember reading a post one time where the person said he "chopped" up the industrial sized shit with a ruler before flushing.

Start taking stool softeners regularly too.

The worst thing you can do is take a laxative. I did once and it creates such pressure behind that rock-hard terd, its like a gun trying to go off. I threw up from the pain. Use the stool softener.

It's pretty easy man. Flush each time a turd falls out. Otherwise try some laxatives, yet don't want your a-hole looking like a giant vag.

keep a fork and knife hidden in your bathroom. since ur turds are dense, you shouldnt have a problem sticking them with the fork. then use the knife to cut them up!

Something isn't quite adding up here lol...

Gross as it sounds, so long as the turd is very solid, you could just use a bucket as a chamberpot and be old fashioned. Toss it into the street and everything. 10 points if you nail a peasant.

I was talking to my mom about this thread as she has the same problem (20mg OC ER 3x daily) clogging the toilet. She also bleeds a lot and it's very painful so I can empathize. I had the problem on heroin, but never that bad. She said when she was on opana er she didn't have the problem. She is thinking of switching back solely for this purpose. Now both of us know the differences between the drugs in their effectiveness so that is not an issue. But I just wanted to know if maybe oxymorphone has a weaker affinity for the receptors in the gut compared to oxycodone? Any personal experiences where this problem was alleviated by changing your opioid?

I'm on suboxone and I used to clog the toilet like clockwork. Every time I drove back from college to my ex-girlfriend's dads house I would plug the toilet...it was embarrassing. What I've found to work best is:
-stool softener (be careful I've heard people say if you use it too often you'll have to use it to shit after a prolonged period of time)
-high fiber diet, it can be a little rough on your asshole but it's probably healthier than taking pills daily
-drinking booze, every morning after a night of drink I always take a nice massive soft shit.
-coffee, caffeine or any stimulant....a cup of coffee and a cigarette make some magic too
-lastly time your dosing so you shit before you re-dose. I remember when I was doing heroin I'd get high so often I wouldn't shit for days and I'd be at the dope spot like almost shaking I had to shit so bad. and I'd end up doing my shot asap and then not be able to shit for the rest of the day.

damn I didn't know I could write so much about shitting but I'm fuckin SPUN on adderall atm =D

I'd say drink prune juice and take stool softeners (not everyday, but as needed) and make sure to get a decent amount of exercise in during the day to get the tract moving along ;). Drinking a lot of fluids is a must.
I'm currently in the opposite situation as I spent the last 24 hours opiate free. Horrendous, I tell you.

@woamotive
Get some loperamide. It'll take care of w/d and the toilet problem. I'm kickig subs now and it works pretty good. Takes a while to kick in though, but it works.

you people and your opiate constipation. i've been taking opiates on and off for the past 6 months and NEVER was i constipated or ever at all frustrated with my excretory system. maybe this might just be luck or a plus in my genetics with such chemicals, but, im just gonna poke fun at the rest of you anyways =D

You must have mis-understood this thread, the constipation is from taking opiates, not being in withdrawal. The OP was saying that he lowered his dose which led ppl to think that he was in withdrawal, but this was soon figured out.

OP, you don't need to stress on this issue. It's easily fixed. There are a lot of threads on bowel health/opiate use on BL and another site commonly visited by opiolovers/users. In fact, there was a recent thread on the latter site that will provide you with ALL of the information you need. PM me if you need more info on that.

In short, if you are using opiates regularly, make the following changes:
- change your diet to include high amounts of fiber, primarily from fresh vegetables and fruits. 2-3 apples and a couple carrots a day will provide a visible change immediately. Naw mean?
- drink tons of water throughout the day. Not caffeinated drinks, water. Tea/coffee in moderation are fine, but they tend to dehydrate you which will make your problem worse.
- drink a caffeinated beverage in the morning (or whenever you regularly drop the kids off at the pool)
- more exercise, especially in the morning, to get things moving
- stool softeners once in a while. Don't over do it.

You need to be extra-hydrated to make sure that your shit isn't too compacted. What I listed above is guaranteed to fix your problem or at least make it a lot easier to manage. If it's not working well enough, add more fiber to your diet. A good natural fiber supplement is psyllium husk. It's cheaper and more effective than the branded products like metamucil.

None really wants to talk about their shit, but in your case it's really messing with your life and it can cause some painful medical problems as well. You're not alone. I don't know any long-term opiate uses who haven't had to deal with this issue unless they already had IBS.

Save the money you'd spend on plumbing supplies and spend it on your diet. It sounds like you're at risk of being found out by your pops, and that doesn't sound good to me.

my friend would always tell me about how whenever he lays off the opiates the pain is horrible and the constipation is intolerable. he gave me a laxative on the day he gave me heroin, to solve the problem, and i never needed it. ever. i never had the problem. nothing changes with my shit when im opiated. so i find it slightly humorous how many people seem to be suffering from such a thing.
