The only thing that I can think of is an at-home time-release preparation. If such a preparation were to fail, they'd need to reserve a bed for you at the hospital or morgue.

I played around with at home extended release preps. Never had a problem, but I sure as hell wouldn't try to get an 8-hour duration. If that were to fail, you'd be seriously fucked.

I had a huge overdose on the drug once, and it was nightmarish. Any movement caused my HR to skyrocket. Laying still kept it down to about 25% above normal, but crawling or slow walking and pretty much anything else resulted in >200bpm.

Blood pressure didn' seem to be hugely effected, no headache or anything.
