right...so can spiders hurt buds?

LOL - on the one hand I'd be like whaaa?!??! But yeah as someone said I would make hash out of it..I was thinking about this yesterday when remembering when my friend had a aphid infestation and sold the weed half price...I'd make ALOT of hash if I could go back in time lolx

for aphids simply use neem spray or buy a tub of ladybugs at your local garden centre.
they dont eat your plants and keep your grow room free of all pests.
 
^ So not only can you have a grow room full of awesome weed. You get some badass ladybirds living on your weed helping it thrive as well?

i wouldnt have bought the bud and believe you did the right thing

but......

dont most spiders carry thier eggs on thier back? i am pretty sure this is common for most if not all spiders to do, i have def killed a shit ton of house spiders that as soon as i stepped on em a bunch of tiny little baby spiders started crawling around.

thats when i get out the vaccum cleaner n sweep the fuckers up n thrw em out

anyways at half price the OP could buy the bud at half price n then try n rid the bud of spiders n sell it

i wouldnt smoke it and quite frankly i wouldnt sell it to anyone either but i am just throwin that out there
 
so this will sound totally ridiculous probably but ive heard about small all white spiders that live in the weed and essentially feed on the resin from the plants and its been said in my area that these spiders can be smoked as they contain thc. anybody know any truth to this? just saying it sounds retarded but still anybody ever smoked thc spiders?
 
i got an eigth once with tiny worms inside the buds. scared the shit out of me but i didnt notice until after half of it was gone.
 
ladybugs are off the chain. One landed on my shoulder the other day I was like "well hello there friend!" :D

It didn't say anything back though. :(

some spiders carry their eggs, others make sacs, others lay eggs into insect/animal carcasses (and sometimes live animals).... i mean, there's a shitload of ways that spiders lay eggs.

when you kill one and a bunch of babies go everywhere, though, that's the spider carrying her offspring-- not eggs. shit, though, if there's a spider that lives in weed i'm almost 100% sure it'll lay its eggs in weed, too.

So your going to sell it to someone else, presumably for a profit?

That's bad karma. At least tell them that it was infested with bugs, offer it at the same price and let them make there own decision.

Also show us some pics of the spider infestastion.
 
^ Come on, you're talking about karma with drug dealing? And giving him a hard time for pushing a profit? Why the fuck would he sell a bag for the same price if he went through: A) The trouble freezing it and B) The dealer who sold at a bargain bin price. That's like selling him unripe lemons and getting pissed he tried to sell lemonade at a profit.

You did the right thing freezing that shit. 48 hours minimum. Slowly bring it back to room temp so the weed doesn't dry out instantly. Inhaling dried/killed/frozen eggs are pretty common, as I noted in the previous post. I would use some method of slowly introducing humidity back into the bud (mason jar w/ a peel or humidity pack), however you'll want to be careful of mold. Not sure how much bud you picked up here, but it shouldn't be to much trouble to go through the buds and check for spiders. Again, unhatched eggs... wouldn't worry so much about 'em... The spider corpses though....

So your saying that he polished the turd so he deserves a cut of the action? How about if the guy he is moving it to knows a bit about weed and the OP gets his head punched in for selling infested weed?

Selling any kind of tainted or infected product is a shitty thing to do.

I think you're missing the point, it just requires a tiny bit of critical thinking... After freezing, cleaning, and re-hydrating this bud, it is no longer infected or much different at all from any bud you would normally ever find... Do you honestly think that mexi brick weed is better than tree with a few spiders that has been frozen and combed? Probably not, I mean, I've never punched a guy for trying to sell me mexi brick, I just turn it down if I have better options. Oh, and freezing bud has -zero- effect on potency or taste if done correctly, so no loss there.

Have you ever seen outdoors? I mean, the shit grows *outdoors*! A few spiders and some eggs are not an issue if he froze it and cleaned it properly. The biggest difference is that the spiders were in the bag instead of on the growing plant, which I take very little issue with if someone else is going to be cleaning it for me.

agreed, thats fairly sound reasoning, i was just throwin thw idea out there for whatever it was worth

i also suspected that was the case in regards to the lil ones going every where but i have also seen the eggs being carried so that why i threw itt out there
 
To the guy who says i'm an asshole and shouldn't rip my friends off. 1st of all the guy knows about this weeds history, he's still getting it cheaper than usual, and said spiders don't really bother him. Oh & the fact i've pretty much destroyed the infestation. Anyway it's gone now thread over. :(
 
fuck that people eat spiders all the time, id just smoke that shit anyway lol. half price is a good deal. spider smoke wont hurt you...
