Finally got to try some mushrooms this past weekend. Perfect first time with a new psychedelic. Mellow dose and cool atmosphere.

Will have to dose it higher to be able to compare it with other tryptamines and see how much the "mushroom fetischism" makes sense and to what degree it's only placebo.
 
Man..besides one smoked 5meodmt/dmt experience a month or so ago...I have not tripped since like the middle of summer

I think I will take oral DMT soon
 
ketamine goes perfectly with oral dmt.

actually ketamine goes perfectly with just about any psychedelic. but especially oral dmt, and especially dpt (i'd go as far as saying dpt cant really be enjoyed without k).

Same here, with the exception of a wee bit (sub-tripping doses) of 2C-I and 2C-D here and there I haven't really tripped since the fourth of July.

I'm looking for a time to take DOM, because I have a dose of it laying around waiting to get eaten, but its so hard to find the time to devote to such a long-acting psych. Probably when I get out of finals I'll have a moment of inspiration and pop that DOM and grab my ipod and go frolick in the park. :D Or maybe walk around campus after everybody's gone home for the break, the collegiate architecture looks SO cool while tripping. :)

Delsyd and I went without weed for several days but happened to have some k on hand. We ended up bumping K every time we got the itch to smoke pot... shit got weird. As much as i "love" K it surely is not a replacement for weed 8)... I did get the closest to K-Hole that i have ever been one evening tho. Delsyd forgot to tell me that he hadn't crushed up the K and I had the double vision going on and did a line that was about 4 times what I would usually be comfortable doing.

K holes have always been a bit scary to me. This was not frightening at all... just confusing as fuck.

Anyone else hate money?

$%*&%^ I was all set and ready to go with my glovebox and extensive gear, but my sporeprint appears totally blank and my other one has shiitake which Im not gonna grow - I was kidding before its cubes I deal with right now. WTH where are they??

Well I guess I'll be trying the viability of years old syringes then while ordering some more. Lately I have lost more things that I couldve sworn should be there, losing my freaking mind....
 
your spores just disappeared from the print? thats weird. maybe the last time you prepped a syringe you scraped the rest.

ive had syringes work well years later when they were kept refrigerated.
 
I never had to prep a syringe before, used to just finish my bought syringes and used liquid culture.. honey tek and stuff.

Oh well, Cambodian it is :) A fresh start after a long break.

Tomorrow I will inoculate the few mls of Keepers Creepers and Golden Teachers I have left,
dont feel like using that for liquid culture or something.

honestly, i get such large harvests its been a while since i've worked with fungi. a shame too, because i get a lot of pleasure from it. i might start it up again if it weren't so cold.

i was collecting all sorts of strains/species like crazy for a while there. it got to be like my habit of collecting drugs. how's that pokemon thing go? 'gotta collect em all' ?

my last grow included cambodians. ime they were very attractive fruitbodies and the mycelium showed very nice rhizomorphic characteristics and were quite fast to colonize. i did a little agar for isolation though so i got a bit of uniformity in the last batch. but even the first time i tried cambodian the multispore results were very nice and overall pretty uniform.

i really love caring for fungi. it's so rewarding and so incredibly fascinating to watch the little guys progress. i also love mixing nutrients/substrates, pressure cooking, prepping grain etc. aaah! i dig it. you got me all excited thinking on it again.
 
sporeprint blank? any mushies popping outa flowerpots? moldy corners in bathroom? ;)

oh yes. cultivating shrooms is nice. as soon as I know I'll be at home for a few weeks consecutively I'm gonna start some c. hawaii. don't wanna leave the pets alone at home...

their song "saturday morning breakfast show" is even better but not on youtube(only the "best part" of it). ALWAYS gives me goosebumps.
 
We just inoculated our first batch of jars!! the mycelium has almost taken over 2 of 'em, it's such an awesome feeling! We have a few different strains, the one we're trying first is called PF Tek, which is also the name of the grow method we're using. Now it's just the waiting game...hopefully in another week or so they should be fruiting.
