Best homemade bongs?

What are the best homemade bongs? Ive heard of the common ones like high lighter pipes and using a water bottle but are there any good ones?

How to Make a Bucket Bong (gravity bong)

Also known as bucket bongs, beach bongs, and depth charges, this is essentially a device that uses gravity and air pressure to draw the smoke into a large chamber and then expel it quickly into the lungs. This gives much larger hits than most instruments, and it is possible to get quite fried quickly with a relatively small amount of weed.


This is how we made ours:
I've smoked out of only a few gravity bongs in my life- but they all were constructed in the same method. And there are only a few I've seen for commercial sale, so here's how to make your own.


Equipment:
A 2 Litre Plastic Soda Bottle (preferably transparent)
A 5 Gallon Bucket
A 5/8" Socket from a Tool Set
A Knife to cut the Soda Bottle
A Normal Screen used in Marijuana Pipes or Bowls


Cut the plastic bottle at the very bottom where it starts to fold in on itself and form the bottom. Cut the whole bottom off the bottle.

Next, put the screen into the 5/8" socket. This is your bowl. Think we're crazy? This size socket fits PERFECTLY into the mouth of the soda bottle. You can try any other bowl that will fit- some head shops sell rubber corks with a hole in the middle for a metal bowl. Another cheap alternative is a rubber hose with a cone piece that fits at the top.

Place the bottle into the bucket and fill the bucket with water until it reaches close to the neck of the bottle. That's it!


Smoking:

Put a lighter to the bowl and gradually lift the bottle out of the water. The slower your lift the bottle, the more concentrated the smoke will be and vice versa. If you do it perfectly, the smoke looks like it's raining down the sides of the bottle- it's very beautiful when you're stoned.

Once the bottle is full, remove the bowl and place your hand over the top. It's now time for someone's turn! Put your mouth over the opening and let the bottle fall to the bottom of the bucket.

Don't try to suck the smoke in- Open your lungs and let gravity do the work. If you inhale or push the bottle down too fast, you might get a mouthful of bong water.
 
I acciquired a ten thousand ml liter graduated cylinder. Drilled through the glass and added a stem, slide (diffuser), glass bowl. That thing ripped like a mother fucker, but i was attemping to make the stem whole bigger and broke it.

My friend had a similiar one except it was 25 thousand ml, and an erlenmeyer flask. It was bad ass.
 
waterfall SoBe bong is what i always use. look it up on youtube if you're interested. there's no other way to smoke IME
 
Those big monster energy drink cans. (With a twirl on top.) Put on side, dent near bottom. In center of dent punch a couple holes (like 3 or 4 small ones). Then like 90 degrees from the dent poke a "carb". Take lid off. Place weed over holes on dent. Light. Suck. Remove finger from carb. Inhale. Hold. Hold. Hold. Exhale. Get high.

You're a real G if you use the tab from the can to punch the holes. Gotta bite that bitch and bend it till it breaks, but it's easily do-able. Best way to make a pipe involving no tools %)
 
^ so much practice doing that shit, hate not having a pipe sometimes :(. Probably have cancer from it in 25 years haha.
 
Easiest most practical home made bong is vitamin water bottle, peice of hose, and a bought metal cone peice. Only used them when I was younger, now its all about the glassies.

Mate of mine who is relatively talentless has an insane ability to make fantastic bongs out of almost anything, the single most impressive was when we had 2 sticks of gum and a coke can, manage to produce a metal stem (no leaks at all btw) metal cone peice and get it into a coke bottle with out blending it. All the more impressive as it was done tripping on a train, train bongs bring back the teenage mischief
 
alternate method for the grav bong-
a little harder to perfect but just as effective.

take 2 liter and the 5/8 + screen as bowl. dont cut the 2 liter, instead fill with water. light bowl as you poke a hole in the bottom of the bottle. water will drain out steadily and will be replaced with smoke. when all the water is gone, take bowl out and inhale out of top
