Switching to a pipe

Hello everyone forum virgin so please go gentle ;)

I'm thinking of using a pipe instead of rolling a spliff. I don't want a bong because it restricts you to home use only. So i had a look around and found the Bud-Bomb.

Has anyone got one or have tried one ? If so whats your views on it. I love the fact you just unscrew the top half put your bud in it and puff away.

Clean, discreet and very mobile.

Is it worth the money? Does it cool down the smoke like advertised ?

Any info will be gratefully received.

go get a blown-glass spoon pipe...like $20 at ur local shop. not saying bud bomb sucks, but it looks stupid and glass is great

I used an image search on google and they look very pretty. Loved the look of them a lot.

My main question really and im sorry for not pointing it out in my opening post is how hot will the smoke be as i draw it into my lungs ?

Does the glass pipe cool down the smoke before it hits the lungs ?

maybe. probably the larger pipe, the better "cooling." if you've been smoking joints, the heat of the smoke coming from a bowl will almost definitely be cooler than what you're used to.
 
If you want the smoke to be cooled, but don't want to carry around a bong, just buy a little bubbler.
 
ya def go down and get a glass pipe from your local shop. u are probably gonna find that if u dont clean ur pipe often enough that ur gonnna start hacking up lots of black shit and grey shit. once ur whole pipe gets black instead of the resin building up inside it'll build up in your lungs faster than normal. i cant smoke outta pipes inless its an emergency and im driving. ill wait to go home and hit my bong with an ashcatcher. ive been smokin for 10 years and i hit the bong all week and am completely clear and then on the weekend i smoke out of a pipe (burb prefferably but my girl said no more cause she does the driving and its hard for her to hit while drivin) but mostly a pipe on weedends and ill smoke a bowl then hour later hhhhhhhhhhhhlaaaaaaat a fat black thing and clear shit all gross lookin. im not trippin either all my friends get it. 1 buddy of mine says its cause we smoke realllly good bud out here in socal and take huge rips. and it does build resin alot faster than schwags and also a different kind of resin i noticed that wen i moved back from a stay in ohio. i dont smoke resin tho. that shit is gross.

but yea, if you want cooler smoke they make pretty compact little bubblers....

not quite as discrete as a regular one hitter or spoon pipe but whole lot smoother.

a nice compromise for the person who wants a water pipe but can't have a bong just sitting out....
 
If the heat is your concern, a bud bomb is probably one of the worse ideas.

Especially the cheaper ones...

Anyway, for mobility and use of use. Id suggest a small Glass spoon like everyone else said.
 
I've been using a budbomb for while now, and it definitely cools the smoke more than a regular pipe. It's also easy and neat to carry around. The only difficulty is that it needs to be cleaned a lot, but its dishwasher safe, so that's pretty easy.
 
I doubt an all metal peice will cool down smoke much, especially after a few decent hits when the whole thing starts to warm up from the flame. Imo glass pipes are the way to go.
