The Big & Dandy 2C-C Thread

I remember having a weird sensation in my mouth when on a hefty dose of 2ci. Almost like a soft, slippery feeling. After everything wore off, they returned to normal.. but it seem to happen just about every time.. I guess it's something similar between the 2c series
 
Glad I'm not the only one who gets this... but I haven't gotten this feeling on 2c-e, 2c-i, or 2c-t-7.... just 2c-c. o_O

Strange.... I can generally ignore it after I reach my peak... but that come up really fucks with my teeth.. they get so sensitive talking is almost painful.

It's not a real problem... just wondering what causes it and if others experience it. thanks guys.

Certainly, with 66 mg oral and 10 mg insufflated. See here for my (rather lengthy) trip report on this. I believe others have reported that 2C-C shines in the 80-100 mg range, oral. Then again, others say they'd never go above 50 mg. On a combination of 60 mg oral 2C-C and lots of tobacco, cannabis and cannabinoids, I had a rather scary racing-heart experience, which slightly put me off using high-dose 2C-C again; but I suspect that was more the combination than the 2C-C itself.

36 mg oral produced a high ++/ low +++ at peak for me (see here for tr).

When you say 'very sick', do you mean vomiting? Or other side effects? And when did the vomiting occur during the trip? Personally, the worst trouble I've had from 2C-C alone is a degree of perceived temperature fluctuation (cold/hot flushes) during the come-up. But I generally don't get much nausea/vomiting from psychedelics. (As I said, though; combining with lots of tobacco/cannabis/cannabinoid spliffs produced scary heart effects.)
 
I have taken it up too 80mg and got can relate to "sick"

My body becomes tense, nausea is there and so are hot flashes. It reminds me of 2c-e body load but with less stab stab and electric buzzz, but there is a buzz!

terrible hot/cold flashes, nausea, vomiting several hours after ingestion, not better after vomiting.

Ooh, nasty. :( Thanks; I'll assume that my small number of positive highish-dose experiences with 2C-C may have been lucky, and be cautious about approaching high doses again.
 
the negative side effects start becoming more apparent at the 50mg range... mainly just hot flashes and some intense nausea for an hour or two. I can imagine around 75mg is where I would actually vomit.

In regards to teeth:
On 2CB I had severe sensitivity/pain in my teeth and it was almost unbearable. I read that 2CB often increases awareness of existing physical problems that we normally block out. So, I went to the dentist. I ended up having a whole bunch of cavities. I had them filled and have not had any additional tooth pain.

2C-C
Tried 2C-C for the first time a few weeks ago. Low dose, only 20 mg orally. I did not know what to expect and 2CB hits me fairly hard so I wanted to start low. I found it very euphoric, with peaceful & subtle visuals. I enjoyed walking outside. Nothing terribly negative except for a brief increase in pre-existing OCD tendencies.

I thought it felt a lot like ecstasy at this dose, and I thought that it had a stronger erotic component than 2C-B.

Since this was a very mild experience, I am going to try either 30 mg orally or 15 mg anally this evening. Will report how that goes.

I am curious in regards to how this compound works as well. I hope it is similar to 2C-B since I have read that 2C-B acts more as a "synthetic serotonin" as opposed to stimulating actual serotonin release, and (in my personal experience) does not usually cause any "week after" depression.
 
All the 2c's act as serotonin receptor agonists rather than as serotonin releasers.
 
Thanks for the info. As receptor agonists, although there is not the risk of serotonin depletion I guess there is still the possibility of receptor down-regulation with overuse?

It is now 6:42 pm and I feel like I am rolling, with a lot of extra soft and fluffy visuals.

This is what I always thought 2CB would be like, but 2CB is far less "loved up" than this.

Why doesn't 2C-C have the reputation that 2C-B has?

This is awesome.

*nods* 2C-C is shockingly euphoric/entactogenic, in my experience, especially in what I'd consider the middling dosage range (the peak of c. 35mg oral, or the coming up/down phases of a c. 60 mg oral dose). :) Enjoy!
 
I am totally shocked that I am not on MDMA right now. This is nuts. And, I am getting the impression that 15 mg anally is a pretty low dose.

:D Yeah, I entirely know how you're feeling. ;) And yes, I've never noticed anything like that level of loveliness on 2C-B (at a range of doses from threshold oral doses up to an accidental 50 mg insufflated).

And, I am getting the impression that 15 mg anally is a pretty low dose.

Well, I think it's not far off a fairly typical dose for many; as you may have noted, some (myself included) have enjoyed doses in the 50mg to 100mg oral range, whereas others find that produces unwanted physical effects and prefer to stay below 50mg oral (perhaps 25mg rectal?). Also, I'd say that, in my experience, it gets pretty damn psychedelic - with a dissociative aspect - at the peak of higher doses. Still entactogenic on the come-up, but that's swamped by the cognitive psychedelia at the peak.
 
I have experimented with 2C-B at a range of doses and it never felt quite like this. MAYBE on a low 2CB dose, on the come-up it is somewhat similar, but really not like this.

I enjoy the dissociative effects of 2C-B at higher doses, I like exploring "astral projection" and out of body experiences at those doses.

This warrants much further exploration.
 
And, to all of the people who are afraid to put a very small syringe up their bottom...

Get over it.

It was 100% painless and a far more enjoyable come-up than an oral dose, IMO...

If you can deal with feeling like you have to go to the bathroom for about 25 minutes, and not going, then that is about all you have to deal with.

I have plugged a few things before... and something about this one really put me off of it. I plugged 25mg and I immediately had to run to the bathroom and TRY to cleanse my bowels for thirty minutes. It was a very intense rushing come up with hot flashes running through me. It was very very uncomfortable. I will admit that I did only need half the material and once these effects subsided, I did really enjoy the trip... maybe a little more than an oral dose of the same strength (I start to get nausea around 50mg)... but I swore to myself that if I could get off that toilet before my trip ended that I would never plug this compound again.
