So I currently have some ketamine. *snip* The only problem with this whole thing is that the K smells like beef stock or chicken stock or something. And I mean it really stinks off the stuff. While I can't taste it as comes down the back of my throat, the smell is kind of a turn off.
The ketamine appears white and very pure. It seems every bit as potent as the purest K straight from the bottle. I don't believe it is cut with anything, just the scent of stock has infused into the powder.
Do ya'll have suggestions for cleaning this batch of K and hopefully washing away the scent? I've used the search engine but haven't found anyone with this particular problem. I don't have access to lab grade materials unfortunately but I could probably get 99% isopropanol. I saw FNB suggested this for removing NaCl from K because the K wouldn't dissolve. Does it have any application here?
Please, any help is appreciated. *snip*

dude.... you have some pure ketamine that smells like soup stock, but you can't taste it....

Unless you are planning on selling it, I can't see why it would really matter if it smelled like soup.... In fact, I think it would probably be optimal so you can continue to stash it in the bag it came in.

psydoc says it smells like beef or chicken stock but really i think it smells like burnt ass rubber. you wouldn't want to eat a pizza that smelled like vomit would you? well we dont really want to put assy ketamine up our sniffers.

thanks for looking out pepper.

1. buy a can of ministrone soup
2. heat up the soup
3. stir in ketamine
4. eat soup
5. ???
6. WIN

Ud be surprised at what people rack up and put into themselves lol

If dog poo was active i think everyone would be eating it hahahha

no interested in selling this stuff. it's really an aesthetic quality.

i guess ii'll just dissolve it in some water and then boil it down and see if that helps. i've seen 200mL for 12g of K. is that right? .8L for 50g?

If it's high quality and you're trying to get rid of the smell, you could just shoot it, am I right or wrong?

Then again if it's for other people...then you could always re-cook it as has already been suggested.

I know this a bad pun, and I don't really have any information to add, other than suggesting you look into the chemistry books to see what will dissolve K and not organic solids. But looks like someone up the line from where you are getting your K might have misinterpreted the phrase "cooking a vial of K" :p I can imagine a possibly k-tarded individual in a state of childlike trance, seasoning their delicious ketastew... "MMmmm.. Needs more paprika" :) He nods and remembers (not ;)

Bad advice...

How does the guy know that it is actually that pure. If it were really pure then by definition it can't smell like something like that. The only reason could be that it has been stored for a long time very close to soup bouillon or something and acquired some of the aroma.
But it might just as well something substantially in the K that is colorless and you do NOT want that in your muscles or veins.
For christs sake don't shoot it if you don't know what is going on with it. 8(

hmm... here's a thought- maybe it was liquid and the guy who cooked off the water wanted to save some time while he was warming up some soup for dinner and he put the plate over that? lol could explain it

Closing this, had contact with Pdoc and basically talked it through.

You know what the deal is :) Good luck - its answered.
