Outdoor plant still not ready yet, worried about weather

Its starting to get cold around here a bit, I'm worried my plant may be harmed by the weather before it is ready to harvest (what little I can) I read that some strains may take as long as October to finish flowering. Anyone know if my plant will be alright? Aside from the problems its had with the top leaves it hasn't had anything else wrong with it and the pistils are starting to grow longer and emerge more.
 
Just keep an eye on the news, when they say it's going to frost, cut your plants; otherwise youll end up with modly bud instead of a little bit less. There's really nothing you can do besides a greenhouse or inside when it comes to weather.
 
if your in the UK it should be fine for another 3 ish weeks as its been really dry ,no rain for like 2 weeks, depending on the size a small frost shouldn't harm it too much iv had plants out till end of October and they were fine just watch for mold ,,, also what do the leaves look like are they long and thin or fat and roundish? a sativa dominant strain wont finish in the uk untill nov.-dec. time and i really doubt it will make it that long, unless global warming suddenly kicks in.

I'm on the East Coast, US and I think its an Indica dominant strain, but its bagseed, all the other plants were definately Indica also. The plant suffered stunted growth because of poor soil it was started in, in the beginning. It never got really tall, probably 6 or 7 inches high and it only has 3 fingered leaves.

so you are worried about a 7" plant? unless you show me a pic otherwise, i'll assume you won't get much bud from that anyway. if that's the case, i'd cut the bitch down to her prime and go buy a good bag from ur weed-man/woman.
 
I had a couple other plants, one which was very big and healthy, but it was male. I'm trying to get something out of it, I don't care if its a few grams, just as long as I can get something out of it is fine with me.

And no its not male. Its suffered stunted growth, not growing its top back after being topped (should of never done it probably just decreased the yield instead of what I hoped for), and it has some issues with the top leaves.

Other than that all the new flowering growth is healthy.

alrighty. kill it, or let it keep going. it doesn't really matter though. there's no bud and it's too cold and too late for it to grow any substantial buds without bringing it inside, especially up in PA. i'm farther south than you on the east coast and it wouldn't work here either.

the first frost is going to kill it anyway. just don't get any hopes up.

I wouldn't kill it, I'm gonna keep taking care of it as long as I can, might as well try. Its pretty sunny out today and isn't really cold., hopefully the weather will stay like this for awhile
 
sorry to say but if your plants still look like that outdoor, you are not getting any bud my friend. wait til spring and try again. next time you'll know what to do.

Is it possible to have a spring crop and a summer crop here in PA? I thought that was only possible where the weather stays nice like in Cali.

I'll try planting some in spring and then some more in like June or July.

i'm disappointed. i said the same thing and got no credit. ha.

yea u can grow in spring/summer in PA. check out www.rollitup.org. it is the shit for growing info and access to other growers.

u need to plant in early spring though. you could even start the plants in the window sill and wait til after the last frost before you bring them outside. otherwise, start in mid-to-late-march (after temps are above 40 overnight).

planting in june or july will give you the same results as you have now if growing outside. it's just too late and they'll get frozen one night in autumn before getting any bud.

how long have you been growing?
 
get started a whole lot earlier next year and w/ good soil. honestly if you don't give them a good start they're not gonna recover quick enough where you live.
don't think you're missing out on much from that plant. consider it a learning experience and you'll do better next year.
