At the moment, i am a little to embarrassed to go to the doctor about this problem. I notice that every time i shit, the first few wipes have a ton of blood. More so than I have ever seen before from just irritating that area. Plus, i seem to notice small amounts of blood on my shit. I'm afraid its my stomach, it has constantly been queazy recently, tho that could be because I've been a bit worried to say the least.

I have been only been a heavy drinker for only about 2 years (almost 23 yo), and I would estimate on average I drink about a half pint of 80 proof alcohol per day, although my use has fluctuated between heavier and lighter drinking, and I used to occasional all day binges. Also, during the last week or so I have finished off a bottle of 60 5MG diazepam pills, or 300 MG total. Another thing I can think of, one day recently I drank an entire small bottle of liquid kava extract that was probably supposed to be "30 doses" health food store kava tends to be weak.

I looked online for bloody shit, there are almost hundreds of possible causes, so Im hoping someone here can tell me what damage I most likely did to myself, if any

dude go to the hospital. When you have bloody bowel movements it can't be good.

Do you plug any pills?
Do you eat healthy?
How much do you drink
??
 
Never plugged a pill, I would estimate at least 250 - 300 ml hard liquor a day, sometimes much more. I eat reasonably healthy, probably not enough though... like one or two meals. Right now I have been eating a lot of yogurt and hoping this will pass, maybe its like a syndrome of some minor wds from using my whole benzo script too quickly?
 
Well your shitting blood because either your stomch or your intestence, have you gone to get your rectrum cleaned out with water? (i forgot the medical name for it..)
Sorry to hear man, are your stools hard? or is it soft?
 
Soft primarily recently. Havn't gotten any treatment yet. And am absolutely dreading it, its almost a small enough amount of blood I would like to ignore it, though that is probably unwise
 
if you're seeing red blood, then it's not coming from your stomach. it's probably coming from your large intestine, but i'm no doctor.

stop living so hard, and go see your doctor!
 
What's up with the mega dosing? Are you having trouble sleeping, or are you just having trouble getting through the day? Alcohol abuse and bloody anal discharge are frequent dance partners. Quit the alcohol, start hydrating yourself properly, eat more healthily and look into other methods of mental relief. Go see a doc, as has been suggested, just to be on the safe side. You'll probably get a gentle gloved finger probe and get sent home with some suppositories and "no alcohol" advice. No joking matter, though, blood on the TP and in the dog drinkarium.
 
Self medication for social anxiety (well not "self" medicating with the benzos), the occasional desire for oblivion / just to turn my brain off as much as possible so it cant send me so much worry... nyway im thinking its probably an ulcer, but who knows, at least I'm not freaking out now, so thanks for the responses. Quitting alcohol seems to be the main problem I should focus my energy on
 
go to a real doctor.it might not even substance related!you could have some cancer or tumour or something you just cant say for sure
 
Is it fresh (red) blood or old (black) blood? It could be something as harmless as hemarroids but its really not worth the mental and physical stress this worry is causing you.
On monday take a deep breath, and call the docs to make an app. You'll feel 100% better just for taking action.
GPs have people with this symptom in all the time and they will handle it in a professional manner to cause you minimum embarrasment. And it will be worth it when you feel this a thousand ton weight has been lifted off your shoulders.
Worry is only useful when it results in an action, if no action results its a futile act of masochism.
 
OP- Did you ever have this checked out?
I have this problem too and have told my Dr. but they didn't seem too worried.
My father and my grandfather on my mothers side both had the same problem- The Dr.'s said it was from stress.
I have an ulcer (which is okay right now) but I still have blood......
I hope in your case it was nothing too .
 
Do you have hemorrhoids? Or take opiates?

Seriously go to the doctor they can tell what's wrong with you better than strangers online can, and you do need to get this looked at. Be honest about your drug use too like about taking the benzos. You won't get in trouble since there's such a thing as doctor/patient confidentiality and if you tell them not to tell anyone legally they cannot.

i get this,

but when you start bleeding from the inside out, and gobbling up months long scripts in days, its time to look yourself in the mirror. it can't be healthy for you anyway.

SA is right: go see your doctor. Do for you like you'd do for a loved one... all the best.
 
Is your stool very dark in color? If your stool IS excessively dark, then that means there is blood in your stool.

If your stool is light in color, or varies in color normally, its probably an anal or rectal problem such as hemorrhoids. In any case, you need to make it a priority to consult a physician about the problem.
 
yeah definitely see a doctor man. I had bloody shit at the end of January and I thought nothing of it for about 2 weeks. I go to see a doctor during the second week of february and they take my blood and stool sample and didn't get back to me for like 2 more weeks. In the mean time I had to go to ER because I kept losing blood and was constantly feeling faint and the pain in my gut started to increase.
So that sucked...
Anyway when I finally did get diagnosed they told me I had Ulcerative Colitis. This is a really shitty disease and I haven't had a NON bloody stool in almost 2 months, and I've had plenty of opportunities considering I'm going well over 5 times a day.
It's possible that what you have is far more serious that you realize and no one should be diagnosing anything for you over the internet.

even a tiny amount of blood in your stool signifies weakened intestinal problems, or worse.
