So i think its settled; cats are terrible and dogs are superior...
^dude I love that picture!!!those eyes
Ummmm... are you crazy?
Cats are intelligent enough to get the blind person to re-write their Last Will and Testament with the cat as sole beneficiary, then walk that blind-ass sucker infront of a bus... all the while watching calmly through their murderous slitty eyes.
The powers that be know this.
Same with our Siberian. Contract states that he must remain an indoor cat. Realistically, there's no way to check up on this, but we'd be reluctant to let him out on his own anyway. We let him out into the garden (had his vaccinations), but no further.I am contractually obligated by the breeder that I purchased her from to to keep her indoors. If you bought a Bengal from a breeder more than likely there will be a contract and a few stipulations that you will need to uphold on your end and the breeder will have stipulations that they must keep on their end.
^haha so wait, what are they goin to do if you don't follow the contract? Come take your cat away? catnap her?
They could potentially take me to court (however unlikely since they live 7 hours away from me) and have the cat taken away from me due to breach of contract. Just like if the cat had become seriously ill or if the vet found a genetic defect in her, I could take the breeder to court (if it had to come to that) and they would have to give me a new kitten under the same contract.
I wouldn't let her out anyway, we don't live in an area that would be safe for her (we live on a busy road and there are woods all around our house with plenty of wildlife that could eat her) and I also have spent a good amount of money on her so far (actual purchase price plus several other expenses).
Keeping kitties indoors is quite common when purchasing purebred cats as is stipulations against declawing. I think breeders creating such requirements shows that they really do care for the welfare of animals that they breeding and the animals aren't just a paycheck.

The nice things about cats is that they don't require tons of space. I don't know how big your house is, but more than likely you would have enough space for a kitty or two.![]()
