Hiya, bluelighters!

Is it really possible? I need to ask because I have been smoking for the past 5 years and still can get really bombed off of 2-3 bowls of regs.

Just recently, smoking daily, breakfast, lunch, and dinner thing for me. For the past 6 months with one 2 week break for a drug test (Past it btw, woot! :)).

All this, yet it still takes under $10 to make me start hallucinating.

My friends hate smoking with me because it takes many more bowls for them to get as high as me after just one. Thing is, I have been smoking longer than some of them.

It has always pondered me as to whether it may be possible that some people develop no tolerance to some things?

Yeah it's very possible. Different brain chemistry.

For example, Nicotine is considered to be one of the most habit-forming drugs there is, but I've been smoking and using dip since I was 14 and can go without it for weeks on end with little craving.

^ Beat me to it.

I was going to say the same.

Everyone always seems to think being a light weight is for wimps, or lame.

I just call those SOBs lucky because they are more "bang for their buck"

Lucky. You can avoid that "I can still be higher" trap that many smokers go through, which leads them to burnout or be so high that they feel like doing nothing.

It's not fully a physiological thing. Your mind becomes so accustomed to how THC affects it. I remember my third time smoking, I came home and went to bed in my pitch black room. The visuals in the darkness freaked me out.

After months of smoking, I did almost everything high. I don't understand why didn't happen to you.

Yep, it can happen.

I have a friend who smokes 2-3 times a day and has been doing so for the past 3-4 years. One or two bowls of mids and he still gets baked, I envy the shit out of him ;)

Yeah I hate that shit, when I'm smoking with someone with a low tolerance and he wants to stop after a little bit and people are ragging on him, I'm like "shut the fuck up assholes we're not in high school here chill out."

Mean stoners can be very mean.

I've been smoking for 9 years and I get ripped from half a joint to myself.
Seeing that too much pot makes me really anxious I stop before anyone else in the circle.

Then the inquisition starts... "Youre done? why? are you sure? really?"

I get ripped as shit off of 3 hits so don't think that getting high off of one bowl is super lightweight. I don't smoke very much though. I actively maintain my low tolerance and I think I can keep it at zero indefinitely. If you have a low tolerance without trying then props to you, you have baller genetics.

I usually just smoke 2 bowls anytime I smoke gets me good, I never want to smoke more because I like to save it, but I'd imagine 4 would get me super blowed. Originally one bowl would be good for me, then I stepped up to two.

you'll probably save more money with your weed as long as you aren't smoking it with other people.

Oh, I'm part of that lightweight club.

One hit will do me these days. Two and I'm usually pretty high.

I'm in my late 40s....I've been there before, and I don't think I want too much in my system these days. I think it would slow me down and negatively affect my work performance. I've been tapering off for the last four or five years.

Frankly, if I were to smoke a whole joint on my own, I just have no idea what would happen. It was seemingly suicidal to me when I took about ten big hits off a joint before getting on an overseas flight earlier this year. I rather forget I had to go through immigration...so I waited the maximum allowable time and just stayed quiet, high as I had not been on pot in many years. Reminded me of a chemical high that I knew was not going to get out of control. I slept on the plane very well.

same here. i have been smoking for a year and a half and its easy going without it.

also i am a lightweight too. i get high off ONE bowl, all the time

i cant wait for today, i have not smoked in 10 days and im smoking some super dank. gonna roll a rillo, get so fuckin high.

WOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

what about your tolerance slowly getting lower, as a result of still smoking, but smoking less.

i was speaking to my dad recently about smoking, and he was saying that nowadays it only takes a few rips from his pipe to get him pleasently baked.
he's in his 40's, and has smoked since being a teenager, and i know he used to smoke alot, so is it simply because he has used less that his tolereance levels have reduced over time?
