The EADD Hip-Hop music thread

yeah man its a good album, i heard its available to find online as well ;)

i think ya might be thinkin bout a tune called this is london or something

where he is moaning bout the congestion charges etc hehe, good party music but no real dept of substance to it - which is fine, all tunes have their own place and time

ah yeah i have that album, its on 'back to bizness' i think, i was getting confused with a diff uk hiphop tune that has the clash sampled in it, its called london calling by akala

redman and methodman commenting on kelis taking 55,000 dollars a month from nas in child support, skank ass hoe :P

theyre right too

REAL TALK!!!

i love red & meth. two absolute legends.

sounds like method man's paying some child support out to a "skank ass hoe" the way he goes completely wild lol.

I used to listen to loads of hip hop in my early teens, was the first music I ever got into. So much great stuff made in the early 90s; dre, snoop, eminem (1st 2 albums), bigge, pac, nas, nwa, method man, wu tang, etc. That immortal technique is pretty awesome too, the song where he tells the story about a rape is epic.

Rap, like most things that enter popular culture, took a massive nosedive in the late 90s and never came back.

I don't listen to it anymore very often, still respect the good stuff though. I found my true calling when I was 16 ish, heavy metal! *ponders starting metal thread*

dance with the devil. fucking classic tune, incredible storytelling & the ending is 8o

went to see him last winter in dublin, fucking amazing live too so he is

immortal technique is in my opinion one of the freshest mcs around anywhere at the moment, his whole conspiricy theory thing is ALMOST a bit much at times but its still cool - he talks bout real things, has quality beats and a real raw flow

his latest album 'the third world' is pretty good too

here's one of his older tracks, a good example of his story telling abilities

Agreed, I think immortal tech is brill, been listening to him for years. Dance with the devil is a strong track of his.

Been listening to a fair bit of hiphop recently; mostly The Roots, Jurassic 5, Roots Manuva, EPMD and stufffff.

Illadeph Halflife is becoming a favourite, fo sho. Cool song this! %)
