My beer of choice is definitely carltons. I don't ever drink to get drunk: but I buy 1-2 sixpacks of Carlton a week just cos I love it so much. Nothing beats a cold Carlton on a hot day with a cigarette. So so good. Carlton and a ciggie in general!

You can get some cleanskin bottles of wine for about $3.00 during peak season in Australia.

It's very expensive to be a beer or spirits drinker in Australia though! You're right about that :)

P.S. I have NEVER had Haagen beer......is it nice?
 
haha wow, Haagen. that brings back some memories. a few years back when the stores started stocking cartons of it for $20 my mates and i would buy a carton each. theyre definitely an acquired taste;)

I HATE the taste of wine with a passion. Honestly, it's difficult for me to even swallow the stuff. With that said, yes I did drink a few bottles and boxes of wine to save money, but I cannot have a good experience getting drunk off of wine.

P.S. I have NEVER had Haagen beer......is it nice?

It's about a 5 out of 10 on taste to me. But apparently not a lot of people like it, because it must cost like $10AUD for a six pack of 1.5 standard drink bottles for a reason...

I have to agree a lot of low-carb beers do taste pretty average. Lowering the carb content by a fraction does very little to reduce the overall calories in the beer anyway; it's all a marketing gimmick. That said i do have a soft spot for some dry beers that you guys might consider "light" like asahi and tooheys extra dry.

No beer at my place at the moment but I'm looking forward to the half bottle of this that is waiting for me to get home from work :D --
