Long Island/City Meet Up?

Hey; it just occurred to me that there have GOT to be people on here from Long Island or the surrounding areas that want to meet up, share experiences and music too!

So I guess list your age, exact location, and where you think the meet up should be, and what should go down, so we can get this ball rolling. The obvious location is NYC but if we get a lot of people on Long Island interested, it can always be local. So here's what I have to say;

Name; Suzanne
Age; 21
Location; Huntington (Western Suffolk)
Meet concept; Jones Beach or the likes, whenever people can make it, barbeque, whatever people want to do in that setting, and INSTRUMENTS!! (And maybe a frisbee or two.) I know that's all I need to have a good time!!

Summer is coming fast; let's get this thing goin!

^My name is Sam too! I definitely need more people to go out with. I am from LI but live in NYC (really the Bronx) now and have like 4 friends here and none of them are into going out or partying.

Meetup: The City or Brooklyn would be easiest for me, but I am also cool with paying a visit to the island... I am usually out there at least once a month. I like the outdoor idea. There is actually a party in Brooklyn every sunday called Sunday Best through out the summer and I think that would be a fun place to do a meet up if you guys would be down for that... it's pretty much dj's, sangria, beer, and tacos in a boatyard. The only down side is that there is a $10 cover.
 
Cool stuff. Im a transplant fro Maryland, mostly work oriented, not too many friends in NY.

Meet: Doesn't really matter, I'm at the same distance from LI than the city. I'm into fast music, and mellow people. Huge fan of psychs and K, but I may indulge in party uppers when the occasion arises. I like the beach idea, weather willing at least. Seems summer is canceled this year.... hah, well Im also interested in a meet up. Hope this goes somewhere.
 
Yo let's just find a bar in the city (my suggestion would be somewhere in the Lower East Side) and pick a date that works for everyone! What you guys think??

Meet concept: LI or city both would be cool, I personally am a stim/psych fan and enjoy figure hanging out listening to music (perhaps psytrance and other electronic?) would be fun altho I'm pretty open minded. I think it would be fun just discussing things with people who have similar interests so I suppose i'd be down for most ideas

^Yeah, I'd think working out the finer details is something that should be done through PM's, AIM, email, etc. Discussing exact locations, with that D word attached, in a public thread has disaster written all over it.

Sory I wasnt on, but I was just talking too Tomer and he seems to ohave the meet up spot at his place. Im thinking. Anyone have an objection too this Saturday? Meet at Penn station and go fro mthere?
 
can we plan it more in advance? i have to work all of this weekend and all of next weekend :\

also i like the idea of meeting up at penn and going from there, as long as we don't have to ride LIRR or Metro North after, that shit's expensive! lol
