Heh heh. LSD played a merry prank on you it seems. It's unfortunate you weren't able to appreciate the hilarity of a silence-seeking missile of cosmic proclamation wiping out the mood of the bar.
Regarding the length of your posts: Write as much as is necessary to capture what is unique and beautiful and informative in your experiences. The psychedelic experience report is one of the most vital sub-genres of narrative non-fiction, and to avoid necessarily long descriptions of psychological nuance is to tell a different kind of story. I'd prefer one person understand something of what I'm really trying to get across in an elaborative long report than for 50 to read a condensed version of the same story crippled generic by its brevity. Of course in the case where the writer's only intent is to communicate the basics of dosage, duration, contraindications and the like for the safety of the community short is entirely appropriate and welcome.
That said, I thought this shorter trip report was a fine length since it seems you mostly simply wanted to isolate your humiliation and the brief and manic thought process that led to it. Reporting isolated experiences within trips is a good strategy if you want to keep it short without doing both your experience and your more perceptive readers a disservice.
I enjoyed the read. Thanks.
