U.S. Customs officers have arrested a 23-year-old woman from North Vancouver, B.C., who allegedly tried to smuggle more than $1 million worth of drugs over the border.

Krysta Edwards' vehicle was searched at the Pacific Highway border crossing on June 26, where authorities say they seized 107,734 tablets of ecstasy.

The pills, which were in the shape of popular cartoon characters from Transformers and The Simpsons, weighed approximately 60 pounds, and were found in a hidden compartment in the cargo area.

"This is the second major ecstasy seizure at the Pacific Highway Port of Entry this month, and signals the intensity of the illicit narcotic trade," port director Greg Alvarez said.

Edwards is currently in the custody of U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement, pending investigation.

Damn you know you're screwed if they list your pills as a weight and not a number. On another note fuck those pills it gives pigs another excuse to say drugs are actively peddeld to young kids(cause they do have an assload of lunch money afterall).

Ya, but since it is illegal here, I'm assuming nothing will change? Because it's America charging her with a crime, not Canada, so it's similar to trying to bring cocain here from Columbia where having like 1 gram is legal, but obviously having any here is illegal.
 
here in Australia we are getting alot of that bzp crap ... even some of your pills as well are ending up here like the outpressed air jordans , horseshoe/omegas etc ..

Someone recntly got busted here at the local airport with 400 pills ... with pacman logo on them and when tested they are 100% caffeine ... we are still waiting on the final verdict .. -->

intent to sell them as ecstasy is just as bad .. but bzp is lower class drug .. yes its illegal but nothing like mdma would be .. anyhow be interesting to see what happens .

Why oh why do they have to call it ecstasy.. MDMA is ecstasy, nothing else and that is the reason why I only refer to them as pills because just about nothing these days is ecstasy.
 
dude this shit REALLY pisses me off, 'ecstasy' my ass, it's irresponsible as fuck for the media to advertise these bullshit pipes as 'ecstasy'. People read this trash and are offered the same pills later and buy because the news said they were 'ecstasy'. >=| cunts
