TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (AP) — Authorities said a man using the drive-through at a Tallahassee bank deposited $200 and a small bag containing marijuana and cocaine. Police said an employee at the Wachovia Bank called police Wednesday after the unusual deposit. An officer arrested a 38-year-old man and found the remnants of three marijuana cigarettes inside his vehicle.

The man was charged with drug possession and later released on $3,000 bail.

It's not clear why the man included the drugs with his deposit.

wow. what was he thinking? Though it would be cool if you could deposit drugs and withdraw them whenever you felt like it.
 
This reminds me of that clip from COPS with the redneck being questioned 'have you smoked any marijuana today sir? Do you have any marijuana on your person?'. 'Naw officer'. All the while the cops giggling because there's a joint behind his ear he totally forgot about =p

I think this has to be a horrible horrible stoner moment and he didn't know he did it lol Like maybe he keeps extra deposit envelopes in the car and hid the last little bit of his stash in one to drive around with and forgot it was in there?
 
Jeez, that sucks for him, I hope it was just an accident. Either way, sort of a drug culture Darwin Award moment right there.

It would be so badass if banks would have drug savings accounts where you could put like half your stash keep your use to a moderate level.
 
Ah good old Florida, we truly do manage to breed some of the dumbest of the dumb.

I have to say though, I find this story to be very amusing, so I can't hate on the guy to much.
 
well, he was obviously too fucked up, to the point of excluding any logic to put forth into his actions. i feel sorry for him, he possibly doesnt even remember doing it.

I would take a guess and say the baggy was in the wad of money he put into the envelope.I have done this countless times ranging from putting money on the store counter when buying things to pulling money out of my pocket and out comes a bag of coke or a ziplock full of beans.
 
i thought someone wanted it in a safe deposit box, most likely scenerio is he was really high, probably thought the teller was flirting with him, so he sent her a present. Either that or he stashes his shit in bank envelopes and got confused..dumbass
