Questions about dopamine oxidation

According to this (http://www.rollinballzcrew.com/preload.shtml), it says that "The less dopamine in your system the less the chance of oxidized dopamine forming".

There are many here that swear by using opiates during the comedown; but don't opiates increase dopamine, so wouldn't that be a bad idea?

I take opiates for pain, so my question is "how long until the threat of dopamine oxidation damage is over?"

If I take my opiates the next morning would that be ok, or should I wait even longer, or am I worrying too much?

The dopamine oxidation theory of neurotoxicity has been disproven quite a while ago (correct me if I'm wrong). I think the experiment involved complete depletion of dopamine stores, following which neurotoxicity still occurred. Dopamine only exacerbates the problem during the roll due to hyperthermia.

Have as much opioids as you want! Heavenly substances!

Yea, just gotta keep cool, eat some ice cream or something. Dopaminergics including opioids increase body temperature (creating that that blissful warm artificial blanket of love).

Opiates barely increase dopamine. They effect mostly endorphins(mu receptors)

It definitely wouldn't be noticeable. And yes, allot of addicts use opiates or benozs to help comedown. If anything, opiates work better because they give an alternate euphoria that makes you forget the stimulant crash.

^ Stimulation of Mu-receptors inhibits GABA-B subunit receptors, causing dopamine release. A small amount of the massive dopamine released may also get converted to NE, thus why some opes like oxy or hydro are more stimulating than others. Kappa opioid agonists do the opposite (inhibit dopamine), thus why some drugs like salvia (salvorin), pentazocine, etc. are rather dysphoric than euphoric like mu and delta agonists.

If you've ever taken L-dopa (almost pure dopaminergic effects), you'd get similiar effects (ie increased alertness, motivation, warmness, euphoria, sociability, etc.) minus the sedation, most of the pain relief, miosis, reduced GI-motility, and so on.

No offense man... but please stop posting blatantly misinformed information in advanced drug discussion. Opioids to not affect endorphin, they mimic it by binding to the same receptor.
