General Heroin Use Habits MEGA THREAD

redbull(that had turned red from so much blood from cleaning rigs in it) that i was sharing with someone. MMMMMMMM. Lots of toilet water.
 
I've seen some shit that once it was mixed with water the concoction turned green.
 
I've done the blood thing.

Grosest thing ive seen tho was a junkie i met upp with just walkin around the hood trying to score. He filled his syringe with puddle water in the middle of the street by a drain on the corner, and the other half he used this red fruit juice drink he was drinking, for the filter he used a cigarette butt he found on the ground. Yuck.
 
the dirtiest shot i've ever taken was when i was still IVing oxycodone. i'd had the spoon with leftover residue and cottons and even though i had a fresh pill to prep i still decided to use the left over shit. of course i ended up with cotton fever, one of the first and only times it's happened. it was horrible and i've never repeated anything remotely similar to that again.

the dirtiest i've felt when IVing was when i had 3.5grams of meth to myself and reused a couple of needles to the point of them having to litterally "pop" my skin and into the vein. that 2 days ended up in an inch long track mark that stuck around for quite a while.

a lot of people seem to think this is totally unacceptable but in reality it's no different to using tap water. it hasn't cyclced through the toilet and into where you do your business so it's no more contaminated than tap water is going to be.

i'm not advocating this or saying you should use it as a last resort (i personally wouldn't) if you've nothing else, but if there's a toilet around there's generally going to be a sink you can use?

When I was banging meth one night I ran out of dope much sooner than planned :) So when I began fiending, I fished some filter cottons out of the bottom of the wastebasket (which had been there for many hours with other trash already accumulating on top of it) and threw them in a big spoon. I added water, stirred and pressed the cottons until I was sure I had milked them, then filtered again and injected that filth. I managed to get 3 mL of liquid solution so I did it in two injections. The first injection actually worked and got me high again, so of course I was happy, didn't care about the blatant filthy injection technique I had just practiced. But then I missed part of the second injection and ended up with a painful bubble on my arm. Being tweaked out didn't help my paranoia about abscesses and stuff. Turns out I was okay, the pain and redness faded rapidly, but I shudder to think about that dirty ass liquid I fed to my veins. :( Oh the shit we do to our bodies.
 
No way would I ever shoot without using sterile gear and clean water...

But I have shot pills without any filter, so I guess thats bad.
 
This is by far the most disgusting thread I have ever read. Testimony like this should be filmed and played for DARE class.

That being said, I was sick and used another person's cottons. Thank God she was clean. In retrospect, I had no idea and am lucky not to have contracted a blood-born pathogen. I've also shared needles with somebody who had Hep B after thoroughly flushing the rig out with bleach. Looking back, this was absolutely fucking stupid, but I dodged that bullet.

and yes i did end up sick as a dog with hep B for a gd while
i also carry the hep C antibody

i was only 20 wen i started slamming meth and nobody really taught me except other meth junkies who shared needles - gang guys
i learnt that that was wrong wen i started lurking on BL and getting drug counselling

plz evryone, think before u comment in places like TDS
were a site full of sensitive souls

Shooting up with water that has been sitting in my room for a couple of days. Dropping pieces of heroin and than finding them on the gound and shooting them. One of my friend used 7up soda that was in my room, he thought it was water.
 
Shooting up with all kinds of unsterile water with a work I'd used dozens of times.
 
**On Average** How Many Bags Do You Do At Once?

Ok yea i know heroin varies in quality, but on AVERAGE how many bags do you usually do at once of the normal ish.

When i was really bad i was shooting around 6-10 bags at once, and sometimes doing a brick a day.
 
When I was bad, about a bundle or two a day. Now I can do 1 bag or 2 and be high all day because I am back to chipping.
 
Dirtiest shot? One of the very few shots I've had, as I'm not really a fan of needles would be...

Shooting a mixture of morphine(Avinza 60), oxycodone(OC 80), and dextroamphetamine(~20mg Dexedrine) with a rig my best friend has just used for some coke...

How did I not contract some strange nasty disease, and how did I not overdose from all of that? Some things are better left unknown.
 
I often question how I never got some type of disease. I had a close group of friends (about 6 of us) we would always share needles/water/cottons/etc.. Then if we ran out of rigs we would just dig one out of the trash and clean it up.
