So I keep making new sploofs every other time I smoke. I searched for some life expectancy of sploofs but couldnt find anything. I was just curious how many times you could use a sploof and it still work? I cant tell when I am high if it is working or not because I cant smell anything usually or hallucinate smells.

dude i have had the same spoof for like 2 years, its a paper towel tube and i just stuff new dryer sheets in when it starts to smell funky.
i had to retrofit it with all kinds of duct tape for it to maintain shape. its pretty nasty, but it still eliminates smell....

the best spoof is kinda difficult to blow through so you know as much of the smoke is contacting the fabric as possible.this allows for much of the suspended particulate/tar/odor/ to fall out/get trapped into the spoof leaving laundry fresh air.

if your spoof has barely any dryer sheets in it it will wear out faster and not absorb as much of the smell.

Just remember the farther the smoke has to go through dryer sheets the more effective it will be.
dirty dryer sheets can trap stuff too and the resin that builds up is good at grabbing more resin out of the air.

man sploofs are the shit. Around here we call them zoob tubes (don't ask me why, lol) but I usually change the dryer sheets out of mine every few weeks

Depends.. I'd say every few uses if your really trying to hide the smell from someone (parents, RA at school, ect). If your just trying to keep the weed-smell down a little at your own place, i'd say 10-15 uses?

There is no exact number really, that just my opinion.

Edit: I just realized no one can even try to accurately guess the answer for you, because you didn't tell us how big an average sesh is for you is when your using it haha.

Well, the fact that you're using a paper towel/toilet paper tube could be part of the problem, because cardboard is pretty damn porous. Try a plastic water bottle and stuff the drier sheets deep down it, with a hole out the bottom. Should last you longer. You might have to make a new one because replacing the dryer sheets can be damn near impossible, but it should hold up better than the cardboard. Happy smokin!

I love you all.

This is the first I've heard of these thing. So I smoked a bong and blew the smoke outy through the sloppf insde, would a person in the next room be able to smell it at all?

no they wouldnt. unless extra smoke escaped out of the bong..

but i noticed with these, after i blow out i get a weird taste in my mouth, like the laundry detergent repelled to my mouth or something... yea not cool...

anyone else with this?

I Have something like this, but it works a lot better, it's called a window. I Just toke my bong and blow my smoke out. Sorted.

i had this problem too,
I just exhale almost all the way and save a tiny puff of air to blow out my mouth to get rid of the dryer sheet infested air that is lingering in or around my mouth..
also my spoof is long so my mouth is not very close to the dryer sheets.

ive had mine for ever. I just spray a ton of colgne in there every once in awhile

I do!!! I feel so connected to everyone already. This place feels like home.<3

I love you all.

Thanks for the replies. I would blow out my window but it is blocked. When i toke it in a car I cant really stick my head out the window and blow a ton of smoke so yea :[
