Most original weed strain name?

skunk #1 and Northern Light #5 although rather basic genetics sound much more legit then some of the "super De dooper dee purple england kangaroo Haze" names i've heard many a street dealer full out of their ass to make a sale.

IMHO, strain names are only meaningful when the people tossing them around are growers or breeders.

To dealers and smokers, most of whom will never grow or deal with a seed bank, strain names are a lot like ecstasy pill 'brands' -- often little more than decorative marketing, and certainly no reliable guide to what kinds of effects to expect.

With this in mind, a whole lot of strain names are as original as can be: made up on the spot!

When i get just green good weed i say its "Green Lacukaracha" and distribute that name around. Anybody else have/know some good ones?
you dirty bastard. Its because of people doing bullshit like that the majority of people disregard names even if their one removed from an educated grower that knows their iish. If your tossing names around to make a sale point blank your a radioactive dooschbag. If you use legit names for legit representation then go for it but seriously dont open your mouth if you dont have legit name from a legit source.

^ I totally agree frosty, man. Like for an example, this guy can have this actual reallly good weed homegrown from a really good grower, then a guy gets ahold of some. It has no name, or he doesn't know the name. So he goes and calls it The Fizzle Dizzle Kushy Berry. Then some kid buys it and its actually really dank. He goes on BL and says, yo, anyone every tried the fizzle dizzle kushy berry? its so good.

Then more people see it and use that as a name. Thats just 1 example, you know?

I do not find this to be the case in California.

Undeniably true. California although it has a lot more legit growers per square mile then most other states is still subject to jackasses making up names to sell a product. Just look at the "sour diesel" situation by you, everyone and their mom's have a sour diesel cut but most are New york city sour which has no real diesel in it. East coast sour diesel even when seen is also known as "sour diesel" so its a pain in the ass to find the real thing cause some dooschbag made up a name to sell a product. DONT DO IT!

Cali dispensaries bug me to an extent since most of the nugs i see in those places have been screened at least once.
