i smoke everyday and it helps keep depression at bay... even if you smoke all day all the time, mood should be fairly stable as long as you're eating well and exercising...because even without drugs, you'll likely be depressed from simply being unhealthy..add the drug, further neglecting health, and you get more depressed....now if you're doing coke all the time, it makes sense that you're getting depressed....but i'd like to understand how cannabis could directly cause depression. i can definitely relate to the depression caused by a break after heavy use, but it seems this is purely psychological, since dopamine and serotonin levels are unaffected by cannabis use. my depression on a break is related to less interest in food...but i just force myself to eat like usual and it goes away within a day.
i wouldn't listen to people who tell you cannabis is unhealthy...more than likely they don't have any knowledge to back their statements...you might as well be listening to the DEA.
if you find it hard to take a break from cannabis but you really want to, then do it. verbalize and internalize ("all right, i'm done with this")...whatever your wording is, stick to it... only you have control over your life. remember that.
you can't respect yourself if you don't control yourself..because without self- discipline, there's really no value in anything and life becomes meaningless.
