Your biggest drug-related pet peeves?

First...on the subject of needles and infections...Clean needles & equipment + sterile [all it takes is an alcohol swab and some care]conditions = zero chance of any infection [assuming the substance itself is not infected which would also effect other routes of administration].A.I.D.s,H.I.V.,Hep.[either one,take your pick] are caused by sharing needles or equipment.Simply don't share and you wont be at risk.As for most people being scared of breaking their skin and shoving some alien substance under their skin...Hmmm...Lets see...A tubercular peasant in Colombia swallows numerous condoms filled with coke.Nearly 5 hours later they touch down in N.Y.C.They expel[defecate] these rubber bound nuggets of joy after they have been sitting in their intestines for several hours and have struggled through their rectum.Then someone in unsterile conditions slits these multicolored pieces of shit[thats what they are by now-technically]and proceeds to adulterate it significantly with an unknown substance[to you].Then,the merchandise changes [unsterile]hands however many times it takes to make it up your nose.If its base you are after then a whole new set of exciting and stomach turning, foul,and unsterile conditions enter the scene[and your bloodstream.Second...on the subject of substances ingested via I.V. not undergoing the same body filtration as those that are smoked or "sniffed"...i've got some bad news for you-you are incorrect.I will offer a very brief explanation:When sniffed,the substance in question goes directly into the bloodstream.The reason it is sniffed is that the blood vessels in the nose are so close to the surface of the skin that the substance can pass directly through the mucous membrane.When smoked,the same substance is absorbed via the lungs directly into the bloodstream.As far as onset of effects,and whatever danger that may pose,I concede that I.V.is in fact the fastest delivery system.So what?Last time I looked around,drug users crave instant gratification.Anyway...Smoking is felt within seconds-with a difference of perhaps 3-5 seconds between the two.If people choose to avoid,or even abhor, anything then that is their choice.I just don't think that they should denigrate others for the purpose of elevating themselves-especially when those on the pedestal are just playing with semantics.As always I apologize about my lack of indentation but as I have said before in earlier long posts,I seem to lose it when I post.

Always, always smoke your dealer up/down. But not if there are 3 other people you don't know at his house. You will leave without any dope.

Know when to stop. I'm sick of hearing "Hey, got a five-oh?" as soon as all the dope is gone. That's your cue to leave, not ask me for more money.

And for dealers, if you got shitty dope, don't try and sell it like its some premo shit, because people can tell you know. When you buy a dollar of coke, and it cooks barely a fiver worth of rock, something aint right.

If you dont know how to properly hit a pipe, ask someone to help you. And don't bitch that I get bigger hits than you, of course I do, I'm hitting the pipe the right way, whereas all you manage to do is burn my shit.

And why does every nasty bitch think you want to lip-lock her and give her "seconds" on your hit?!

Hmm, lets see here.

People selling you weed and talk constantly about how "dope" etc it is to the point of being ridiculously annoying.... different people feel different effects, if its good, I will know when I smoke, and tell you. Also, dealers who just want to sell a small amount but are really sloppy dealers, I've seen too many people sell weed to unknown peeps and then get robbed pr beaten up. Make sure everyone is a freind or a GOOD friend of a friend before selling to them.

Ignorance about drugs and such when you've already told someone about erowid or bluelight... do some research please. Its really annoying when people quote propoganda... I want to tell people that say weed makes you stupid to look at my grades.

Calling weed "dope" or using regional slang... c'mon people, you can be honest when there is no one around. When someone says "do you pop?" I don't know if they mean pills (or what KIND of pills) or dancing (ie popping).

Keeping the pipe and telling a story when you should be passing the bowl. Its ok to talk, but don't hit it and then tell the story, pass it and then tell the story.

Doing drugs in a stupid situation and expecting to be ok... ex: smoking bud at college and being EXTREMELY loud to the point of attracting every campus security officer in a mile radius (don't let the drunkard stoners buy a bullhorn), or smoking weed and then shooting a security guard with an airsoft rifle (just before i walk in your suite to say hello to my buddy, and I get trapped in the suite by the police... wheee, that was fun). DUMBASSES. I also don't like it when people smoke a lot of weed and go to class, i think its disrespectful to the teacher.

Someone who tells you they'll smoke you out then they just stand around because they're too paranoid... you offerred, tell me nevermind or go find an appropriate place for us to smoke.

People who look down on you for your habits when you are doing well in school and have your life together. When I am earning money working a good job 40hrs a week in the summer and going to a top-notch school and on the dean's list the rest of the year, let me smoke my bowl at night before I go to bed!!!!

Stupidity and ignorance related to excess or smoking weed. Yea, I'm down when it comes to partying, but there's something about the idioitic giggle that accompanies smoking and the add that accompanies it, which I just can't stand.

i agree. i dont look down on ppl who smoke weed, i just personally am annoyed by being around ppl smoking weed.
hell, i'm also annoyed by being around drunk ppl though.

Oh, I think we all have that one friend who ALWAYS gets too fucked up, and you end up babysitting. One of my girl friends always is too drunk\high to function at parties and I end up watching her all night or driving her home. Major buzzkill.

I don't really smoke weed anymore, but when I did (even when I had a really high tolerance) my eyes would always get really red... and people would look at me and geek out and be like "OMG you are so high!" and I'd be like "yeah a little" and they'd be like "no, your fucked up".... WTF is the point of arguing with me about how messed up I am?? If I am high, I would admit it, but whether I am or not you don't need to comment on it. We're all just trying to have a good time.

Also, I don't drive drunk or high. I just don't feel comfortable wth it. And people will always try to pressue me to do it. I always arrange to either stay with a friend or get a ride home when I'm out partying and when people fall through on those plans and expect me to just drive home is frustrating... you agreed to help me out, you are my friend, why are you going to be like that?? When I say I will DD for people or let them crash at my house, I fucking follow through with it.

People who think there is all sorts of shit in pills and still take them, and STILL manage to look down on most other forms of drug use. It's like you think you could randomly be ingesting anything from heroin to cocaine to LSD to rat poison but if I know I am taking meth that is so abhorrent? FUCK OFF!

Dealers who expect you to share some of what they just sold you. I tell you what, you cut the cost to the point you aren't making profit and are just doing me a favour and I will make it worth your while, otherwise the money is your incentive and my gear is for me. Note I said dealers and not friends middle manning or doing you a favour selling out their persy for little to no profit.

People in the group who never have their own drugs and constantly sponge off the people who buy them. Exacerbated when they have the audacity to get all shitty that you can't or don't feel like sharing.

Overly paranoid people who trip out for half a fucking hour about doing drugs or scoring drugs before shit actually gets in motion, its like chill the fuck out, sure there are innapropriate circumstances but why did we agree to come here to smoke or score if its not a cool place to do it?

Overly gung ho people who think that drugs and other illegal activities are not actually illegal and take it upon themselves to broadcast what is going on to EVERYONE. Its called being fucking discrete, you might not care if your ass gets hauled off to jail but in our current circumstance, if you do I am being hauled off with you, we are all breaking the law so stop being so ignorant and selfish.

People who don't use drugs or even don;t use certain drugs that get on a high horse even though they are not the least bit informed on the subject and will go on and on with lectures or just despise/look down upon you for your own personal choices.

Dealers who are late, a few minutes whatever, but I mean dealers who ALWAYS have you hanging around in shady carparks and alleyways for like half an hour to an hour and everyone who walks past is staring at you like what the fuck are you doing just hangin around there. Its like, I could of waited that extra time for my drugs but how about you let me know next time and I wont get there till then next time, scoring isn;t the only thing on my agenda just because your a fucking waster doesn't mean I couldn't have used that extra time usefully.

Thats all I can think of right now.

Another one is back when i was shooting dope. I showed someone a long time ago how to prep a shot of dope, and then later they were always trying to prep MY shot..... it bothered me because i loved prepping my own shot, it's my ritual.... I would dream of prepping the shot and seeing it draw into the rig, noone is taking away my pre-high ritual.

People trying to school me on drugs when its obvious I know more. Dont get me wrong if you know your shit its worth hearing. but when someone is telling you that theres acid in that roll or there smack might be some heroin in them..wtf is the only thing that comes to my mind

and people who smoke weed or something but thinks anyone who does anything other that psychedelic hippy junk are junkies and crackheads
