LOL yes.
I leave my phone on silent and I tell my friends this....they get the idea.
Cell phones are a major pet peeve of mine. They have really changed the world in a bad way.
Could you imagine that like.... people actually lived without these things for millions of years8o

I swear 99% of the US is dependent of their cell phone....always have to have it out....because it's like so uncool to be seen in idle mode sans cell while in public or something...8)
 
^ I don't think coolness has to do with 99% of the population's using a cell phone. At least, not any more. Maybe in 99 lol. Now I think it's because people have such amazingly short attention spans/ have minds full of mush who couldn't bother having a thought of their own. :\
 
Well I can't say for sure what motivates people with their cell phone usage....but there's no doubt some people think i'm crazy due to the fact I can sit in a room full of people without speaking or flashing my cell phone around. So be it.

I HATE HATE HATE HATE HATE chatting on the phone. I rarely answer my phone. Why don't people accept that I do NOT WANT TO TALK ON THE PHONE?

If you want to chat or catch up, send me an E-mail or come visit me. If we are making plans, text me. I'd rather have it in writing anyway so I can check it later in case I forget something.

Never mind that, I think most towns have added the "be a jerk" powder to the water supply or something. The problem is way too prevalent to be explained by just a few people taking a pill.
 
i came in here to post something about how it seems every damn time i scroll down to second opinion, i say to myself, theres fjones in the pet peeves thread, does nothing get posted(no way).

which now has turned into theres fjones! in the pet peeves thread!

it'll be ok man.
 
The doctors won't give me Klonopin. I am pretty sure my pet peeves would dramatically decrease if they did.

I think you are right. If I tell the Dr. I have 128 posts in a thread called "pet peeves," how can he refuse?
 
Pet Peeves-
- when I can't control my mouth.....or my fingers and I type or speak without thinking.
Diarrhea of the mouth is an issue for me........

-Egomaniacs

-Getting a card about being saved as a tip...... This is not a tip.

-Being treated as though I am less than someone.......
I can't stand when people act superior.
If you need to act this way- you are not superior.

-People who are constantly fishing for compliments and when you don't give the compliment- they get upset.....then act all pissy but say nothing is wrong-
