Your anti-burnout method

I like a red bull after a long session, it seems to help alot with the dregging out(burnout to us aussies) of course some meth or coke wouldnt go down too bad lol j/k
 
Me & my homies always used to cook up a GIANT pot of coffee during a blunt session. Fill up a mug and keep sipping coffee for the rest of the day.

If I know I shouldnt be burnt out later, I'll take a nap and that works most of the time, other wise I'll i just smoke more!
 
I smoke before I go out, so I'm running around and there is no burnout... just the (eventual) return to normalcy.
 
by keeping myself busy it easy to avoid a burnout
all you gotta do it get up off your ass and do something hehe
 
I get exactly the same way if i smoke multiple times a day with out really wanting to but just doing it because i have weed and i can...I get an insationable appetite and raid the fridge eat all kinds of shit endlessly and having a shitty migrane and then passing out and waking up with my stomach being torn apart from all the food i ate...

i hate when this happens ugh...


try to let yourself come down all the way before ripping again..and dont get dehydrated and eat healthier i guess(i feel gay saying that...eat some tofu lol)

I did that once. It made me high, but being high does not get rid of boredom or loneliness. So I never did again. See this thread.

You can decide that you are satisfied before your body tells you to stop (which on cannabis probably will not come).

There is nothing to be embarrassed about there. Being healthy is a state to be proud of. (Although I do not recommend tofu for most situations, it has almost no flavor...)
 
I always made it a point not to abuse any "addictive" drugs but didn't realize the power of purely psychological addiction to the high until it was a bit late to turn back. I basically smoked pot occasionally for a week after I started and then it turned into daily use, about 2 years ago, which has yet to stop. I'm high at least twice or three times a day, and if not I've got something else occupying my mind constantly to make me not think about the fact that I'm not out getting high. I've seen the burnout thing, and I think, just a personal opinion, that the burnout is an overexaggerated perception of the effect that the drug use itself has. For example, I completely fucked this semester up, my first one, in college. Why? I was out getting stoned or thinking about how to not be fiscally fucked whilst getting stoned. To me, at least, this is a psychological obstacle to be overcome. I know there's no physical mechanism that makes me want to smoke, but when I have "nothing better to do" (AKA smoking sounds like a better idea) it's just so hard to get up and go get shit done, basically. To me, that's what burnout is. But that's how my whole life has pretty much gone, laziness and wishing I was out doing what I need to be doing, so maybe that's why marijuana is still my drug of choice after all this time-it potentiates these natural feelings for me.

I smoke at night 90% of the time, I can't stand smoking in the morning, its actually one of my pet hates. I hate the comedown off weed, I'm usually left with a headache. I like to smoke at night but then in the morning i have that shitty lethargic feeling, and I'm slow at following conversation etc. I need to find my way around this :/ its effecting my school work.
 
u could try limiting your smoking to just nighttime etc..you'll be less burned out for sure. plus you enjoy the bud much more obviously

not smoking strong indicas excessively early is another good step u could take..i enjoy the burnout from kush..it's like a sedative ..but not always. sometimes feelin burned out is the last thing you'd want..
 
Yeah but I use it to sleep for the most part.

What i do is just smoke in front of my comp in my room from about 8pm onwards until I'm close to passing out from being so high, then i brush my teeth and pass out. I have problems getting to sleep normally... And i can't smoke any earlier because i live with my parents and they have no idea the amount i smoke...
 
i think it can be about your state of mind, for example, if you have told yourself that you're not getting up and going to the shop then you wont. but if you just drill it in your head that its not actually much effort to get up and do your day to day activities then it shouldn't be too hard.
works for me anyway.
thats unless its early morning then its way more difficult because you're already shit tired
 
just make sure you do stuff while you're high and drink alot of water, (which you should be doing anyway ;) ) don't use coke, it'll burn you out even more, showers and swimming in a pool can work wonders (and are fucking amazing while high)
 
Me and friends play 'The Game' and whenever it gets quiet we start playing it, you pass the joint round and take 3 drags and hold the smoke in til it gets back round to you, yes that's traffic lights but 'The Game' has a twist, you see there's this lad called Andy that comes out with us, and the person getting the joint passed to has to say something outrageously stupid about andy
eg. Andy sniffs his nipples when he's a zebra,
anyway you have to hold the smoke in without laughing and until it gets back round to you, if you laugh your throat feels the burn.

it keeps us rapidly thinking and stops us zoning out in our own little pointless dazes.
 
Smoke better buds..a different type maybe?

Im always high and occasionally burnt out..I don't see this a problem, its a life style I have chosen and very much enjoy.
