different drugs scenes disliking others

Every notice how different drug scenes dislike other drug scenes and don't get along?
We're all drug users, but it seems like the type of drugs you do, seems to have a negative impression of people who do different type of drugs.

There's a generalization, seems like people who just drink alcohol, and don't smoke weed seems to be like stoners, or people who use other drugs.

Stoners who only smoke weed seems to be against people using "harder" drugs.

Ravers who are into club drugs, MDMA, ketamine, don't seem to tolerate drugs like meth, or opiates.

Different drug scenes don't seem to get along with other drug scene. Anyone notice that?

People love to choose sides. That's the nature of the beast. I guess it's hard for some people to relate when it comes to taking LSD vs. taking Heroin. Not alot in common in the discussion I guess.

People who drink alcohol shouldn't be involved in this discussion. MOST of them are fucking hypocrites who look down upon people who use "drugs", even though they themselves, are using a drug in alcohol. It's just fucking stupid. I have talked about this before, having divisions in drug use is hypocriticial and fucking elitism at its finest. We all choose the drugs we like to take, and no one is above anyone because they choose to do one over the other. (Fumes coming from my head)

Might hate them for their choice of shoes, though.

I don't judge anyone because they do or don't use a certain drug. However, their use of particular drugs might affect their behavior, which I am willing to judge them on.

It doesn't matter to me whether or not you put a ball of blow up your nose every day. But it does matter if you're lying, stealing, talking 1000 miles an hour, etc. (I spent a while as a cokehead, and I wouldn't want to have hung out with me either) Fine with me if you do heroin, but I'm not trying to watch you nod out all afternoon. And, on the flip side, my girlfriend doesn't care that I smoke pot regularly, but she's definitely not interested in spending two hours with me and my friends philosophically deconstructing the significance of Cooler Ranch Doritos in a post-materialist society.

Personally I don't judge people on what drug they use or have used in the past.

But if I don't like the drug your using around me i'm going to walk away from that situation.

It seems though that there is tons of people who drink alcohol who don't like people who smoke weed and vise versa.

It's more about the person/people than the drugs they're doing. Seems most of the methers I've met tend to be paranoid and a little...SHADY...so I stay away. Drinkers usually get all loud and wanna pressure me to drink, which I hate. Some of it can be blamed on the effects of the drugs, but personality and character have a lot to do with it, too.

I'd be using meth if I knew where to get it (I'm just a dedicated stoner these days), but I'm not sure I've met a tweaker or cokehead I like .. No junkies where I live, but I have to carry a gun and cross my fingers cos of the army of tweaker zombies .. Soulless, sub-human trash.
