Warm wash cloth held against it, rub it around, keep the blood moving around, massage it. I've missed coke shots on my arm before.

Thanks bro its working. The only thing that worked when I missed while shooting roxies was the hospital slicing it open with a scalpel then squeezing the shit out of it and filling it with packing. Happened twice with subutex too but the last time I was lucky enough to go to a hospital that used propofol on me.

It depends what area you are in. I've lived in connecticut almost my whole life and would walk into walgreens or a pharmacy in the ghetto that isnt a chain, and walk out with a needle. its not hard, you just have to ask for the right one and KNOW what you are talking about.. you might have to act like you are getting it for your grandmother with diabetes..but usually we were never turned down in CT. I'm in Minnesota now, with no connections, I'm not going to go down to the cities of st. paul and minneapolis and ask the first addict-looking person to show me where the shits at, because no doubt I will get raped. you can go to theneedlebeast.com and order syringes offline, and I've heard it's very safe to do so..or go to your local needle exchange program.

If you live in Jersey or New York, you can go to a needle exchange to get clean needles. I'm not sure if there are any in other states, though. Other than that, I don't think that Walgreens thing would work, because they seem pretty anal about certain shit. If you can't find a needle exchange near you, ask you dealer because they can usually get them.
 
Has anyone ever taking a shot of H and right after get things itching/ tingling / like someones poking you with a needle all over feeling? It only lasted for about 5-10 seconds and didnt happen again with the same stuff, but it was strange. It kind of itched so bad it hurt, all over my chest neck back and head.. I have no idea what it was, anyone? (Its not the H cause I used it later and didnt get that feeling)
 
I pass out when I'm around needles :|. I pass out when I get shots. I pass out when I have blood drawn. I almost pass out when I just see someone holding a syringe. I'd almost rather die than stick myself with a needle.
 
I have before (heroin) , but it's sorta a hassle, IMO. I hate the dangers associated with needles (missing the vein) but it gets you really high.
 
Amazingly, with just about a quarter century in the heroin/morphine scene I not only do not inject, I am not able to! For the life of me, try as I might, I just cannot get a register. I know the technique front and back, a little air between the solution and plunger, angle in the ultra-fine, and hit the vein but I can NEVER get that trickle of blood!

I have of course had others inject me quite abit, years ago. So now I have a ton of morphine, I am on morphine maintenance, and my tablets are perfectly water soluble! Like the Knoll Dilaudids and yet I cannot inject them!!! It drives me crazy. I will not IM them because of the talk and fear of abcess.


Ironically I am HCV (Hep-C) Positive but did NOT catch it from IV usage. Rather I must have gotten it from a reused syringe by a medic in the army. Back in the 80s, in Israel they would reuse syringes quite often. Lucky HIV was so rare om our country back then!
 
I never have but I'm curious about trying. It just has such a negative stigma attached to it for me that I can't bring myself to do it quite yet.
 
i started with iv meth and then never ever went backt to snort or eating it. Absolute waste. Then i would boot fricken e's, in my bad bad times. Then i hit the heroin for a bit and then oxy.
I always had my gf shoot me up but then after a while i did it myself cos it's fucking easy and i shamefully did it behind her back.
I don't regret iv'ing at all cos i do it about once every 3 months at the most. but i always think about it.

Dont worry but its probably from your friends shooting you up.. Basically all of us heroin/opiod addicts have hep c. Its nothing to be ashamed of.. And when I see a friend that slams 40 bags a day and shares needles tell me that he doesnt have hep c I laugh... My problem about shooting is, i destroyed all my veins from shooting subutex.. I just recently learned also that the binders in the subutex are crystalizing in my lungs. I then read a news report that a man died from shooting subutex because his lungs filled with crystals.. So im basically walking dead. I cant stop :\

It's not too shocking that someone who shoots doesn't have hep c. The only person I share needles with is my boyfriend, and I'm the only one he shares needles with.
You can go to Walgreen's and buy syringes for 25 cents
 
Although I do understand that shooting up drugs gets you so much higher and gives you a more sustainable rush, it's just not the thing for me, i'm not hating on anyone that does do it tho... i just dont think i could ever stick a needle in my arm to get high :\
 
^I felt the same way for most of my life. After the first couple times I tried it, I felt even more disgusted and frustrated with the whole experience. Then you get it right/hit a vein, and you realize what all the fuss is about. After that it doesn't seem so bad. You're smart to avoid it.
 
About the only drugs id shoot these days would be meth, coke, H, ketamine and maybe some kind of psychedelic like DMT or DPT.

Never again will I shoot MS-Contin, OxyContin, Ritalin or any kind of OTC anti-histamine...I.E I wont shoot pills, even if theyre micron filtered, its unlikely id shoot heroin either knowing what that shit is cut with.
