It used to be fresh Cannabis buds. Now, the smell makes me sick, probably because I don't smoke anymore. Uhm... fresh, I mean that very fresh oceanic smell. Like, when you're sorta just rockin' up to the surf beach and you can smell the freshness of the sea (especially when you're stinking hot).

And, another one, probably my all-round favourite would have to be... you know that smell (if you live in Melbourne you'd know what I'm talking about!) you get, just before it's about to rain-heavily? I have no idea what the fuck it is, but it is extremely "fresh" smelling. Problem is... I hate it when it actually rains.

The steam in a hot sauna can be rather refreshing, though... relaxing. I like that smell too.

Eucalyptus, especially after rain. Freshly cut grass. The smell of sex. Walking in the front door when someone's got a roast on. Barbequed onions. Good aftershave when you're nuzzled into a man's shoulder. Petrol... a little tragic. Chlorine, because it makes me think of a childhood spent in swimming pools and the freedom of mind in following the black line up and and down.
