HOW TO: Splitting Nurofen Plus tablets

I think you can, i just split some non splittables the other night and took about 350 mg and the high was not intense but it was nice, warm and fuzzy. I don't think you done it wrong mitze i just think you can't expect that much from it. I really had to chill out and concentrate to feel the high, it was very subtle. But yea its not an intense high but a very relaxed one and only lasts about 1.5 hours. Try smoking a bong at about the hour mark ad that will help keep you at the low level your on. In my opinion though it is all over rated and im nopt sure ill do codeiene again, the itch was just unbearable. Apparently benzo's will fix that but not 100 percent sure.
 
Codeine is not a social drug... drop the pills then lie down in bed in a dark room with good music on headphones. I find this to be really enjoyable with codeine. Antihistamines will fix the itches.
 
i ahve other pills that contain 50mg of codiene in my cupboard, can anyone tell me how to get the codeine out because there is a fuck load of other shit in them too which i really dont want i my system
 
A cold water extraction would probably be the best way but could you post the other things that are in your pill? It may not be possible to get them all out.

I live in new zealand and i have just bought a packet of 24. One 12 layer splits easily and you are left with two distint halves. The other layer is obviously of the non splitting kind as they are softer and tend to crumble... Has anyone else had a mixture in one packet?!! Willl the 'non-splittables' be safer through CWE?
 
the ones that crumble have just been around longer. make a perfect split with a pill splitter and you can still use the ones that dont split without a CWE.
 
Assuming you have the good, splittable pills, would crushing the codeine sides in water and drinking the solution increase the amount of codeine absorbed and lessen the time for absorption to take place? Also, would there still be insoluble material in the codeine side of the pill? If so, should you just swirl it around and drink this too, or leave it at the bottom of the bottle (or whatever the solution is in?) I know there's not going to be other active ingredients in there, but I was wondering whether a portion of the codeine would remain insoluble and hence be in with the other insoluble material.

It wouldnt increase the amount of codiene you ingest, as regardless of method, there is still the same amount of it in each pill. It will, however speed up the process, as the codiene will only need to be metabolised, as opposed to disolved internaly.

Does this not defy the whole point of CWE?. If you drink the leftovers too, you may as well eat the whole damn pill to start with, and not bother fucking around with water?
 
^ Not with the Nurofen pills... with pills that have tylenol and codeine mixed in together, yes this would defeat the purpose of the CWE, but in Nurofen Plus you already remove the ibuprofen from the equation when you split the pill in half. I was just wondering how much of the codeine would remain in solid form with a CWE.
 
I am going to try some tomorrow night.

What effects can expect from this, I am guessing just some nice relaxed feeling.

I will probably be smoking marijuana before hand. Is this a good idea to do or not.
 
Yes marijuana and codeine have quite a good synergy from what I have heard, I will definitely try them together one day. Expect to feel relaxed, at peace and quite lazy. Some euphoria is present at higher dosages. Make sure you've got plenty of water nearby, I find I get really thirsty when using codeine, and you won't want to get up and fill a bottle once the drug kicks in. Have fun!
 
Had 4-5 spliffs today and have just drank 200mg of codiene with water.

Will let ya know how I get on. Might be back to reply here in a while. Will write a trip report later
 
Wow. Some of you guys take crap loads...

I do this pretty regularly and rarely need more than 100mg. I find it to be one of those subtle drugs like GHB where less is more.

AS for there being a "splitting type and non-splitting type" this is crap. You may occasionally get one that doesn't split properly due to a fault in the manufacturing process, but seeings as I've had 3 out of around 1000 do this, I'd say it's more likely that you're fucking up with the splitting.

Most of the packs in the UK seem to be non splittable. I think you've just been lucky.

It varies depending on country. In Oz they practically fall in half with a little pressure on the sides. In the UK they don't split well at all and you have use a good sharp knife or pill cutter to do it.
 
^^^ i dunno, i'm in sydney and i've had 2 boxes out of ~ 20? not sure (these are 48 packs) that just _would not_ split evenly. this was NOT my error, as I normally have very little trouble splitting them - score and press with a pen knife, nothing more. Some batches just seem to be more 'cohesive' than others - why the UK has more of these I have no idea, but it would be wrong to say that all nurofen plus over here just falls apart, because I have come across dodgy boxes.
